Chapter 31 Daddy?

Zaire's POV

I haven't slept in 10 days. That's how long Cherry has been gone. When we went to Olithia's castle there was no one there. We have searched everywhere for her. Part of me thinks she's dead. Another part of me knows she too strong to let Olithia kill her.

Telling her mom was hard too. I told her about the dragons when she got back. She wasn't shocked or anything. In fact dragon helpers run down her family line. Dragon helpers usually fight in battle alongside their partners, the dragons or in Cherry's case you're able to mate with. When I told her seem to not believe me.

"What do you mean Zaire?"
"I mean Princess Olithia kidnapped Cherise and I don't know where she is." I lower my head so I wouldn't have to face her.
"So my baby..that I trusted you with is kidnapped? Is that what I am to understand?"
"Yes mam."
I can see the tears surround her eyes.
"Did you call the cops?"
"No but-"
"But what?! Your men can get my daughter back?! Or is it the men here on Earth just can't know your little secret?! Let me this clear right now. I don't give a damn about your secret and if it gets out because my daughter life is worth way more than your stupid secret you want to keep!"

My guards stand up but I put my hand up stopping them. I deserve to hear this. "You find my BABY and when you do don't ever talk to her again!"
With that she leaves my office.

Her mom put flyers everywhere looking for her. She got the cops involved too. She went around asking people about her. She went to the news crew asking about it but no one, like I expected, knew nothing.

It was hard getting guards to help find her. The day she went missing I contacted my father and it didn't go down well. 

A few days ago 

"Father I need to talk to you!" I say barging into his room. 

"Zaire do you not have manners?" My mom says

"I'm sorry but this is an emergency."

"What could it possibly be that you had to barge into out room Zaire?"

"Cherise has been kidnapped by princess Olithia and I need men to find her."

"And that's our problem because?"

"Because I know she will be future queen of our realm one day." My parents exchange looks and start to laugh.

"Zaire that's so cute." My mother says

"She must be better in bed than princess Olithia if she kidnapped her."

"I'm serious." I say feeling myself lose my temper. I don't have time to listen to my parents insult me.

"Of course you feel like you're serious Zaire it's called puppy love."

"It's not puppy love. It really is love."

"How many times did she let you hit raw?" My dad lets out a loud chuckle. I walk up to my fathers desk slamming my hands on it. "Don't talk about her like that." He stops laughing and stares at me. The tension in the room rises. "Have you lost your mind?" My father says.

"Don't talk about Cherise that way." My father leans back in his chair and stares at me. "Are you ready to lay down your life for this girl?"

"I'll do anything." My father shakes his head. "No you're not risking your life for a human girl. She must have pissed Olithia off and she deserves what's coming to her. Should have never fallen in love with a weak pathetic human.Go back with Olithia she's destined to do great things."
