I started my ride home, glancing at random girl nodding at me. I didn't respond because I don't know her, and what kind of weirdo is at a art store at 12:00 at night? Oh right, me.
I hear a beeping noise and look down as the low fuel sign comes on.
"No, oh no, this is not happening." I was in the middle of a side road, miles from a gas station. I drove faster, somehow hoping to outrun the gas tank.
I made it about a mile down the road before the Vespa sputtered and stopped. I groaned and got off, smacking it with my hand. Why does this always happen to me? I think. I look down the abandoned road then reach into my pocket for my cellphone only to find it missing. I facepalm myself. When I rushed out of the house earlier, excited for an adventure , I forgot a key part of life. A phone. Now I'm going to have to wait out here, until someone happened to come by.I sigh and lean against my bike, too tired to think straight. I'll be here forever.
