I wake up with a start, my phone ringing loudly. I glare at my the screen and try to make out what it says. Pixie.
I answer.
"What do you want. I was asleep."
"I'm aware. Don't do anything crazy today. It's my house, too."
I smirk to myself, knowing I have a date at this house in particular. "Believe me. I'll be perfectly behaved all day."
She sounds satisfied. "Okay. I'll call later for an update." I nod to myself.
"Okay. I'll see you tonight."
She hangs up and I put down my phone. I stand up and stretch. I walk into the bathroom and turn on the shower, stripping from my clothes. I hop in and enjoy all of the hot water.
I get out of the shower and go to get dressed, slipping into a pair of dark wash high waisted shorts. I put on my black jumper crop top, and walked back into the bathroom to curl my hair. I decided on wearing it down, something I don't normally do. It's pretty long, going to my hips when it's straightened.
I brush my teeth, take out my retainer, and walk into the kitchen for some brunch. I make chocolate chip waffles and save one for Aries, thinking she might want one. I finish eating and realise that we never set up a time for her to come over.
I grab my phone and quickly text her.
'Hey, we never set up a time for you to come over. When works for you?'
I sit on the couch and turn on Netflix until she answers.
