Amara(POV)
I walk out with Anna and wait till she's in her car. She smiles and waves "be careful, or I'll kill ya ok" I smile knowing she would.
As I walk down the sidewalk people walking both ways trying to make it to work others just texting and walking.
I end up lost in thought about that man in the cafe, I didn't realize it got dark.
As I look around I can't find anyone on the street. I walk into a local store for a juul pod and snickers.
I look down severel isles and find the candy Isle. I look through them---
Ahh! I look up to see a man with a gun pointed at the cashiers head. I freeze, and duck down. To late.
"Hey you get out here now or the whole place is going up in flames" a little bit dramatic but Ok.
I walk to the front of the store as he said and sneer at him. "Your not going to get away with this you thug" I say feeling detached from this moment.
The thug smiles "oh I think I will princess, and guess what your coming with me." He smirks. I shake my head, now feeling real fear. I don't think so!
