So it's bad enough starting your junior year in a new school far away from your home, right?

I wish that's what happened to me.

Instead, my parents uprooted me from my childhood home the summer before I started freshman year. I had to swap dreary Angel Falls for sunny LA. Awesome, right?

So why am I back?

How would you feel if you lost your friends, your home once, and then you lost it again?

I chose to forget, and now my old life is thrown onto my face once again.

My name is Brooke Chase...and I'm not the girl I used to be.

Okaaaaay, this chapter's just like an introduction and stuff, the fun begins in chapter 1!

If you're confused, I'm sorry, I must not have been clear enough.

So basically, there's this girl called Brooke, she's been living in Angel falls (don't ask, I made that up) all her life when at the age of 14, her dad gets a new job, resulting in her family moving to Los Angeles. Brooke's always been your typical nerdy girl with frizzy hair and braces but LA changes people. She is now your total 'it girl'...or is she...? (you see what I did there?)

So anyways, two years later, her family moves back to Angel Falls, much to Brooke's despair, and she has to face everything she left behind, especially a certain someone. (There's always one of these).

Damian Ryder. Her best friend. The only person she had trouble leaving behind. Has he forgotten her?
