Hello peeps! Vashappnin? I finished typing in chapter four on Note but I have to, sadly, wait until there is a proper working network to publish it. Sorry guys, but you know how road trips are. My dad just said it'll be four hours till we reach so I decided to type in the next chapter. I still have to edit and stuff so I don't know if both chapters will be published together, but like always, my fingers are crossed. Enjoy!
Brooke's POV:
"Brookie!" My brother yelled, banging at my door for the fifth time in the last minute, "I'll leave without you."
I rolled my eyes and gave my outfit a once over. I had on light blue skinny jeans, a white floaty top with a leather jacket and brown ankle length boots. My hair was in it's normal curly perfection, as you can see, I'm a little narcissistic when it comes to my hair.
I opened my bedroom door, "Do I tie up my hair or leave it open?" I asked him.
He frowned, "If you go to school this way, I'll practically have to peal boys off you. Why do you make my life more difficult?"
I frowned, "Hair tied or open?" I repeated.
"Jeez, someone woke up on the wrong side of bed. I think you should leave it open but carry a rubber band in case you feel hot." He told me, "Now, do I have to carry you down or can you walk?"
I stuck my tongue out at him and huffed down the stairs.
"Mornin." I said, nodding at my parents.
"Uhh." My mom replied, rubbing her head.
My dad was too busy gulping down huge amounts of coffee to notice.
As you can see, my parents aren't exactly morning people.
I walk to my dad's car and wait.
My brother walks to me with two pieces of toast in his hand and frowns at me, "You didn't eat breakfast." He points out and hands me toast.
I take it from him and realise he's applied strawberry jam to it. I grin at him as he unlocks the car and I get in.
"I don't suppose you'll let me drive." I ask, making puppy dog eyes at him.
"Nope, and I know what you're doing so I'm not even going to look." He replies. Darn, he knows me too well.
"I'll forget how to drive at this rate." I grumble.
He smirks, "Our birthday's only a month away. Wait until then."
Our mom told us she got her first car at the age of seventeen so she wanted to give us cars at the same age. So right now we were stuck using dad's car, since both my parents worked from home.
I laughed, "I can't wait."
"So what are you going to do?" He asked me, "You know, about him."
I laughed, "You can say his name you know."
He gives me a look so I continue, "I guess I'll let myself be friends with him, but nothing more, I promise. I won't do that to myself ever again."
He looked unsatisfied but said, "Can I suggest something?"
I looked at him nervously and nodded, "Yeah?"
"Move on Brooke, date someone, go to parties. Don't wait for him. Try out for cheerleading."
I sighed, "I don't know about that...I want to but Savannah-"
"Brooke," My brother interrupted me and looked at me sternly, "You can't let Savannah stop you from doing something you love."
"Yeah, but we're joining in the middle of the year Bran, there might not be space."
