So if you guys noticed, I've changed the story's name from You Don't Know Me to The Chronicles of Us, because the previous name didn't really suit the story, according to me, and I like this one better.

So I wasn't going to update at first. Seriously, I had one of the worst cases of writer's block. So I decided to do what I always do when I'm stressed, annoyed or pressurized (I call them my SAP moments), I chik flik marathoned. And I was halfway through Pitch Perfect (Gods, I love that movie) I got this AWESOME idea!! (Which has nothing whatsoever to do with the plot).

Believe me, this story is going to be the heck of a ride. I promise you that.

~Dedicated to nrldeanna, because I am just random like that! HEH HEH! No, but seriously, I just checked out The Beginner's guide to running away, and I have to say, it's pretty good. Welcome to Wattpad sista! ;)

Chapter 9

Thank god classes were over, I thought as I pushed my way through the overcrowded hallway.

Honestly, this play was a zoo.

I was just going to go home, have a nice hour long bubble bath, and then sleep-

"Brooke!"

Apparently not.

What did I ever do wrong, Goddammit? I thought to myself angrily, as I waited for whoever was calling me to catch up.

I heard someone pant and turned around to see Savannah Silver?

My look must have given my thoughts away, because she said, "Look, I know I don't deserve this, but can we please talk?"

Can you please just walk away, bitch? That's what I wanted to say but after hearing the urgency in her voice, I couldn't bring myself to say it.

I know, I'm too nice for my own good.

I sighed, "Savannah-"

"It'll be worth it, I promise. It's something you want to hear."

My ears perked up at this. What did she mean?

"Fine." I said finally, sighing and giving in.

"Thank you," I was shocked at how genuine she sounded, and all I could do is nod, "Could you come with me?"

I nodded and started following her down the hallway, all dreams of bubble baths shattered.

Then from the corner of my eyes, I cought a flash of blue. He was staring at me intently. Foolishly enough, I let our eyes meet and for a minute, I was prisoner to the dark blue orbs full of pain, helplessness and need.

"Brooke!" I was jolted out by the sound of Savannah's voice. I looked and found her standing in the end of the hallway.

How did she get there so fast? I thought, as I rushed to catch up with her.

But in my mind, I could still see those pain filled eyes, cursing myself for being the cause of pain.

He deserved it. I convinced myself as I reached Savannah.

"You okay?" She asked cautiously, like I was a volcano on the verge of exploding.

I guess that's what they mean when they say I'm an open book.

"Yeah." I whispered, "Let's just go and get this over with."

She sighed and nodded. "Followw me." She muttered as we walked to her hot pink convertible.
