We meet again! Uh, I wasn't going to update today, because I had this huge math test with twelve friggin chapters! It's a crime, I tell you! Torturing the poor children's minds. Anyway, This is Us was coming on the telly and I didn't watch it, just so I could update. So you better be happy.
Oh and thank you, all of you, for the hundred votes! It means so much to me.
Dedicated to writerbug44 because I just finished her Celebrity Status trilogy, and let's just say I devoured it!
Chapter 11
Brooke's POV:
"That's it." I said finally, "I've had enough of this. You," I said, pointing at Damian, "Come with me."
He raised his eyebrows, "Brooke-" He started to say but I cut him off, "Shut up, will you?"
He sighed, and got up, "Where are we going?" He said in a defeated voice. I turned around. His dark hair was all around the place, and his eyes were full of worry and agitation. It really hurt me to see him this way.
"We're not going anywhere. You are visiting your mother dearest." I said with florish.
"You think I haven't tried Brooke-" He started to say, an annoyed glint in his voice, but I roll my eyes and cut him off again.
"Yes, but you haven't tried it the Brooke way." I informed him.
He raised his eyebrows, "Oh?"
"Shh!" I said, peeking over the edge of the corridor. "Look there."
"Is all this really necessary?"
I sighed, what an amateur. "Ofcourse it is! Haven't you watched Sherlock Holmes?"
He held his hands up in mock surrender and I can see the corners of his mouth itch upwards. He looks over and says, "That guy's standing outside mom's room."
I face palm, "Took you long enough Captain Obvious. Now, here's the plan. That guy's new, anyone can tell, so he'll be easy to distract. I'll do that, and you go talk to your mom."
"How exactly will you 'distract' that guy?" Damian asked. Well, atleast he didn't say no.
I shook my head, tutting, "Look at you, questioning the masterplan."
Damian's eyes darkened, "Brooke-"
"Don't." I said, frowning, "It's not like I'm going to have sex with him. It's just simple high school flirting. An average dose is good for health. And besides, look at the poor chap. So malnurished because of lack of flirting." I said, biting my lip to stop smiling.
Damian apparently didn't think that was funny. He clenched his hands, "No."
I raised my eyebrows and started to argue but he continued, "You're not flirting with him."
My eyes narrowed. Oh no he didn't. "And who are you to decide that? My mother? My boyfriend?" I let out a bitter laugh, "Newsflash, buddy. You're not. So just do what I say, alright?" I said, with no room for argument.
He looked away, but I could see the hurt in his eyes.
"Oh, alright." I said, groaning, "We'll do this the hard way."
I spied a doctor's knife on a table and I snatched it. Damian's eyes widened and he started to say, "What-" but I cut him off with a startled yelp when the knife came in contact with my skin.
