Sandar- Abilities

Sandar creates a sand clone through his puppet, Henry.

Sandar was a very powerful ninja, being able to, with effort, defeat and kill the Third Headmaster, the strongest ninja in Norune Village history. His use of puppets was greatly feared throughout the Third Great Ninja War as he turned the sand red with blood, giving him the nickname, "Sandar of the Red Sand". His legacy was such that Pipit knew and feared him despite being born after Sandar already left Norune Village. Dedana herself even admitted that Sandar was the strongest of the two of them.

Trained by his powerful sensei, Renee, in the art of puppetry, Sandar was an extremely powerful puppet master and had great skill in creating and controlling his puppets. He created a number of ingenious ones including the three main puppets Pipit uses, which were made in Norune Village before he fled. At the time of his final battle with Paige Hudson and Renee, Sandar had 2,998 human puppets in his collection. His status as a puppet master offered him a tremendous advantage against other puppeteer ninjas, especially if the puppets they were using happened to be ones he created, as seen in his battle against Pipit. As puppets are usually installed with long-range weapons, Sandar was an expert at fighting at long distances. He had tremendous skill with puppet strings, suppressing them to the point that they became invisible and he could control upwards to a hundred puppets- a feat thought impossible for ordinary ninjas. Sandar can control living people as puppets, even against their will. His usage of puppets was at such a high level that he made mere techniques appear as an artistic performance, what he called his "Red Secret Technique".
