I don't have the easiest life if I'm honest, it's always catastrophe after catastrophe and I can't deal with it anymore. Many people make think the things that have happened in my life isn't that bad because they may have had it harder, but the struggles I have faced has made a huge impact on my life. And trust me, I wish I didn't.

It all started when I was born. My parents broke up and I was brought up being thrown around by my mother and father. I would see my father every weekend and stay at his house with his new girlfriend and daughter. I remember how he use to hit me and make me sit in the pub corner every night I spent with him while he got pissed out of his head. I would then have to sleep on the front room floor hungry. Don't ask how I remember because I was young. I guess I am just haunted by the memories. I then stopped seeing him once my mom realized the bruises I kept coming home with wasn't an accident.

Everything was going fine for a few years until I was 10. Me and my older sister, Lucy, was walking home from the back of the estate after being with our friends and saw a man in a car stop next to us.

**FLASHBACK**

"Your mother stopped me from seeing you, so I will stop her from you seeing you now." He said as he went to open his door. My sister and I ran home which was not that far at all, we were literally round the corner. I began to cry while my sister explained to my mom what happened. My stepfather chucked me into the front room as him, his mate and my mom jumped into the car. I guessed they went to find him. Him being my real dad who is an absolute prick may I add. My God-Mom stayed with me telling me it will be fine.

After being told he watched us every day we felt threatened and had to move house. I expected we would be moving about 10 minutes away because I wouldn't think my mom would stop me from seeing my best friends who I grew up with. We had everything packed and in the moving truck. I said my good-byes to everyone who lived on the estate. That estate was one big family, we all cared for each other and it was a safe place to be. However, for my actual family, it was not safe for us.

"I'll see you very soon" The 10-year-old I said to my best friends while crying then hugging them one by one. I got into the car and waved them all goodbye. I hugged the teddy my great nan gave to me before she passed away and leaned my head on the inside of the door.

I woke up with dried eyes and feeling very sick. I wiped my eyes and looked around me.

"Mommy, where are we moving to?" I questioned looking towards my sister who is adjusting her eyes after waking up to the sound of my voice.

"We have a very exciting surprise for you girls!" She said turning to look at my step dad then to us girls. "We are moving to central London!" As soon as she said that I felt a tear drop down my cheek, I thought we were moving 10 minutes away, not hours away!

"Lucy, did you know about this?" I asked looking rather confused and infuriated. It was silent. Why was no one speaking? Why did they look like they have just seen a ghost?

"I thought mother had told you?" Lucy asked as she shot a glare towards mom. Lucy is 2 years older than me which made her 12 at this time. I shook my head slowly feeling very nervous for what I was about to hear. "We are moving hours away, miles away. We are never coming back. We are never seeing our friends or family again. We will have to make new friends and go to a different school". I grabbed my teddy and squeezed my eyes tight hoping this was a dream.
