Torn and frayed

Chapter Thirteen

The bell for the last lesson went which was gym. I completely forget about this. We have 5 minutes to get to each lesson after the bell goes. I took a deep breath and walked to my locker. Lucy was there with Beau.

"Ello Kit-Kat." Lucy said, that was my nickname.

"Loopy Luc" I nod. Beau laughed and looked at us weirdly, we aren't that weird. "I've got gym" I said looking down. Lucy looked worried.

"I'll see you in a bit" Lucy said to Beau. We said bye to him and she dragged me to the toilets. She told me to get changed in here which was a good idea. I quickly put on my Adidas sport shorts and a sports bra then put on a black long sleeved top followed by my Nike Flux's. I then returned to Lucy. She brushed through my straight hair and chucked it into a messy bun. She was good at doing these because they always look good. We left the bathroom and the hall was empty. I kissed her on the cheek and said thank you.

"I'll see you at the gates after school ok" She said and I nodded. I walked to the hall and slowly opened the door. I placed my bag in the corner of the sports hall and looked around. The first person I saw was Daniel so I headed to him not looking to see if I recognized anyone else.

"Katieee!!!" Daniel cheered. I hugged him and he returned it. "How are you?"

"I'm good thanks, what happened with Jai and Caleb?" I asked and he rolled his eyes, poor Daniel is friends with them both and he has been put in the middle.

"Well, when you left Jai had stopped and turnt to look at you and when he did Caleb punched him right in the eye but Jai didn't care, he came to look for you" spoke Daniel. He looked over my shoulder and gestured for me to turn around. I saw Jai and I ran up to him. He picked up me and spun me around.

"Stop running away" He looked down at me giving me the sweetest puppy eyes which made me feel bad so I apologised.

"Jai fucking come here" someone from across the hall shouted, I turn to see Luke and all of the girls I despise. Jai looked at Luke then back at me.

"Go, I'm fine" I forced a smile. He pecked me on the cheek which made me blush like cray. He looked back at me and smirked then jogged off to Luke who was glaring at him. I watched Luke stand up and get really close to Jai. They seemed to be having an argument. I turnt and walked to Daniel.

We done basketball and practiced our shooting techniques in which I paired up with Daniel to do so I was fine. I grabbed my bag as the bell went and Daniel walked to the gates with me.

"I'll see you tomorrow mush" I smiled at Daniel.

"Mush?" He questioned looking so puzzled.

"Oh shit, I'm not in England. It means like, mate." I laughed. He hugged me goodbye and left with his friends. I waited around for Lucy outside the gates. School finished at 1:40 every Monday as we only have four lessons that day plus the 40-minute lunch. I looked at mine phone and it was 1:57PM, where is Katie? I look around one more time and then go with the fact that she must of forgotten.

"OH FUCK OFF" I hear a distant shout, I turn around to see Lucy, Beau, Jai and Luke standing opposite the girls we argued with earlier and another boy. I walked over to see the boy had his arm around Chelsey.

"Look who it is" Britney said walking over to me, this was the one obsessed with Jai, Daniel had told me her name.

"You can see then?" I glared.

"What do you mean?" She questioned. I laughed.

"You can see this right?" I put my middle finger up to her and everyone started laughing. Chelsey stopped when she realised she wasn't supposed to laugh and the boy next to her was biting his cheeks and smirking at me.

"Yes, I'm not blind!" Took her a bit of time to reply.

"Well listen here then, if you carry on starting unneeded bullshit, this finger will go so far up your ass, you'll feel it coming out of your fucking mouth" I said getting closer after every word. Wow, what have I become? Lucy looked over at me, she looked so shocked. I walked of and headed home.
