Chapter Fourteen

I was scrolling through Instagram and stopped at Luke's post. It was a picture of him and Skip, the caption said 'Love our fans' I double tapped it then went onto his profile. I saw the photo of me and him and clicked it, I noticed the caption was changed it to some song lyrics: I think the whole world addicted to the drama. I screenshotted it in confusion and sent it to Jai on snapchat. He opened it but didn't reply. For fuck sake. I placed my phone on my side table and walked over to my computer.

Dear me, I went to school today! It was eventful but I stood up to someone. I can't believe I actually stuck up for myself. Lucy has helped me so much today and I am so thankful for her. Everything is looking up from here. I have gained so much confidence and I have friends here. I'm so bloody happy!

I switched of the computer and went to have a shower.

"Kit-Kat," Lucy said knocking on the door. I opened it as I was wrapped in a towel and was already out the shower. She looked at my arms which made me feel uncomfortable so I turnt around and started brushing my teeth. "Mom and dad are out for the night, dad has a business meeting really early in the morning somewhere which is far so him and mum have gone to stay in a hotel for the night," She said then winked. I cringed when I realised why she was winking. She laughed at my reaction.

"Ok, what's the plan then?" I asked knowing she had one.

"The boys are coming over with loads of food, movie night?" My body tensed up from head to toe, Luke will be coming over. I nod. "They'll be here in 15, they are just at the shop," She said as she walked out. My music stopped and my smashed phone started buzzing. Jai was calling.

KATIE: Hello Jaisus. *laughing*

JAI: Hello Pussy-Kat.

KATIE: I prefer my nickname. Anyway what's up?

JAI: We are just at the shop at the moment, do you want anything?

KATIE: I want a pony please.

JAI: *laughing* Coming up.

KATIE: Could you get me some chilli-heatwave doritos.

JAI: Beau, Katie wants you.

KATIE: Oh my gosh, no I forgot!

JAI: Alright, we will be over soon. Bye.

I walked to my dresser and put my Calvin Klein underwear on. I grab some grey shorts and a white long-sleeved top. I blow dry my hair and as I was about to finish it turnt of.

"Oh fuck sake" I sighed.

"No need to swear," Jai said holding the plug.

"Holy Jaisus, you made me jump" I scream. He plugged it back in and grabbed the hair brush, he then began finishing off my hair, he's so cute.

"Let's go downstairs, I want Beau," I said winking which made Jai laugh. We skipped downstairs and Jai put his arm around me before entering the lounge where everyone was scatted over the sofa but Luke was not there. I felt a bit disappointed. I looked up at Jai and gave him a confused look.

"He's in the kitchen". He knows me too well. I sat in the corner of the sofa, Jai was on the other side next to James and Daniel, Beau and Lucy were cuddled up together in the middle of the sofa and Luke was still in the kitchen. A moment later he returned with his arms full of plates with food on, I jumped up and helped him.

"Thank you" Luke smiled. I returned back to my seat and Luke plumped down next to me, our legs brushed together which made me shiver and gave me goose bumps. "You cold?" Luke asked looking at me. I jumped up and went upstairs to grab my duvet, I should of told Luke because he might think I'm ignoring him. I returned back downstairs to see Luke in my space with his legs spread out. I stood in front of him with puppy dog eyes and he still wouldn't budge so I sat in-between his legs and chucked the duvet over us. James had put Mean girls on. We all joked and said it was Britney and Chelsey. But every time Chelsey was brought up I would feel Luke's leg tighten. I wonder what the deal is between them. By the time Mean girls was finished, Daniel had put Netflix on and we began to watch Skins.

"This could be our thing" I smile looking around "Sleepovers on school nights with loads of food and Skins"

"Sleepovers?" The boys said in sync. I looked at Lucy as I thought they were staying.

"Yes Katie, good idea. Boys you're staying here for the night!" Lucy said looking at me then giving me the biggest smile, she looked so happy. We were onto series two already and I was dosing of, Luke moved his legs so that one was each side of me and pulled me towards him, I leant my head on his chest. I felt him kiss the top of my head. My belly was going wild and a smiled stretched across my face. I looked over at Lucy and she was asleep on Beau, Beau was struggling to keep his eyes open. Daniel and James were stretched over each other sleeping and Jai just sat on his phone. He looked up and we caught eyes, he looked hurt. He looked straight down and continued doing whatever on his phone. I ended up dosing of in no time.

"GET OFF ME PLEASE" I screamed. He was grabbing me by my wrists and began chucking me around the room. I got up and ran to the door but didn't get there in time. He pushed me down. "LEAVE ME ALONE"

"shut up you little bitch, you ruined my life by being born so let me ruin yours" he shouted.

"LUCY HELP ME, LUCY PLEASE. LUCY"

"Katie, Katie wake up" I woke up to someone shaking me. Lucy was over me with her hands under my head. I was sweating. The boys surrounded me in panic. "Katie, you had a nightmare. Its ok, we've got you" I fell back asleep to the faint voices of my bestfriends and my sister. I felt someone pick me up so I opened my eyes slightly to see Jai carrying me to my room, I buried my head in his chest before he placed me into my bed. He turnt of the light and was on his way out.

"Jai, please stay with me" I whispered. He looked back at me and climbed into bed next to me. I leant on his chest as his had his arm around me.
