Its finally Friday! I have avoided Luke all week. I feel so bad but I don't want him to be hurt, nobody would understand me but It's for the best. Jai and I have become so much closer, it seems weird because he stayed in my bed again Wednesday night but we both don't see any sexual attraction, he's like the brother I never had. Jai has invited me to his house for dinner tonight, I tried to avoid it but Jai won't take none of it. I'm sorry Luke.
"Have a nice weekend" I say hugging Emily, the one who helped me pick up my things and bag that time in the canteen. Her and I have become friends since Wednesday because she is also Jai and Daniels friend.
"You best be coming tomorrow night" Aaron said giving me a bear hug.
"I'll be there A" I replied hugging him back. I could see Luke in the distance walking towards us looking down so I quickly scatter out of school and straight home.
Jai wants me over at 6 and its 4, ok I best start getting ready because I'm going to take forever. I decided to make an effort.
"Katie, are you going to the brooks house tonight for dinner?" Lucy asks popping her head in the door.
"Yes, Jai is forcing me to" I laugh.
"Oh Beau forced me" She said walking in the room.
"Yes but I have a reason for not wanting to go." I whispered so she wouldn't hear.
"Huh?"
"Never mind" I laugh. She left the room and went to hers to get ready. I got out the shower and wrapped a towel round my hair and body. I went to my wardrobe. I decided to wear a black skater skirt which has cut out sides and comes down to my mid-thigh. I put on some black heels that have a black bow at the back of them. I went to my makeup table and sat down. I put on foundation, concealer, powder, contour, highlight, eyeliner, eyeshadow and false eyelashes. I felt proud of my makeup. I took my hair out of the towel and done loose braids. I then blow dried it so it will dry quicker. Once my hair was dry I undone the plait and put my hair half up, half down. I finished it off with a black sparkly bow.
I stood in front of my mirror. I actually feel good, I look good. Lucy walked in and her mouth dropped.
"Katie you look gorgeous!" She said pulling out her phone. She took a picture of me and I pulled a funny pose.
"Got it from the best" I reply, smiling. We took a lot of pictures as we were both fleeking. I grabbed my black leather jacket and chucked it on before leaving the house. Lucy looks amazing. She has a black laced bralet on, white high-wasted jeans and black wedged ankle boots. She doesn't have to wear a jacket because she has no scars. Why do I do this to myself.
"It's so nice to finally meet you both!" The brooks mom says as she opens the door pulling us both into a hug. "I'm Gina".
"I'm Katie and this is Lucy" I say. I actually introduced us for the first time, I am usually way too shy to do that. I could tell Lucy recognized this as well because she embraced me into a massive hug before entering the house.
"GIRLSSSS" Jai and Beau said in sync while running towards us with open arms. "You both look amazing" Beau said in which Jai agreed to.
"Are we too dressed up" I ask feeling my cheeks burn.
"Actually, no. we are going to a restaurant." Beau smirked. I jumped up and down in excitement and Lucy hugged Beau. We went into their lounge and sat down waiting for the boys to get ready. Beau returned first wearing a black jumper, black jeans and black vans. Then Jai came skipping down the stairs, damn he looks so good, he was wearing a white shirt with a red bow tie and black jeans with black vans and his hair was pushed over in a perfect quiff. I still haven't seen Luke.
"Gina you look stunning!" I said as she wondered into the room.
"Aww thank you gorgeous! Luke was right" She replied. I blushed so much when I realised what she had said. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I stood up hoping that it would be Luke. He came into the room looking at his phone wearing a long sleeved white shirt and black jeans with white vans. He looked up then back down to his phone then back up to me. We made eye contact for a good 10 seconds before we were interrupted by Beau screaming that he's hungry. We all jumped into a taxi and headed to the restaurant.
"Katie" Luke said pulling me back, we waited till everyone entered the restaurant then we turnt back to each other. I looked him dead in the eye and hugged him tightly.
"I'm so sorry Luke" I whispered.
"It's fine Katie, I know why you done it. You don't have to be scared." He said before placing a kiss on my cheek and walking into the restaurant, I followed. It was a cute, vintage theme Italian restaurant. Beau, Lucy and Gina sat on the opposite side of the twins and I, I sat opposite Lucy which made me feel safer for some reason.
"This is honestly my favourite restaurant" Gina spoke, making conversation. "Girls, did you know we are half Italian?". Lucy shook her head and I nodded.
"How did you know Kat?" Jai asked. I felt myself go red,
"I may off have watched all of your YouTube videos." I giggled.
"Fan girl ay?" Luke winked and I glared at him which made him laugh in return. We ordered our food. Jai had ordered me his favourite dish, spaghetti Bolognese.
"So, what's the latest gossip?" Gina asked, we all looked to each other and began to laugh. "What? Am I not allowed to know"
"Well, Beau and Lucy seem to have a little thing going on" I wink, making things awkward but we all laughed it off. We had been waiting for half an hour and we were all so hungry, before Luke got up to complain the food finally arrived. It smelt and looked so good.
Dinner was finished and we were all in the taxi. We reached my home and Lucy and I gave everyone a hug before leaving the taxi.
"Thank you so much Gina, that was so lovely and it was so nice to meet you." I thank.
"You'll be seeing more of me" Lucy laughed.
"You girls are welcome over whenever you want" Gina smiled. We thanked them all again before opening the door.
"Dads car isn't in the drive Luc" I looked back to the drive then to Lucy. She pulled her phone from her bag.
"Mom texted me half an hour ago saying that they won't be coming home for a week and they are really sorry but Mark is needed down there for his business. OMG KATIE SHE HAS GIVEN US £500!" She screamed.
"WE HAVE A FREE HOUSE AND £500 LUCY!!" I screamed back. "I actually love it here Luc" I say, I wrapped my arms around Luc and she hugged me in return.
I phoned mom and had a catch up with her before heading to bed. She said she trusts me and Lucy to be alone together and that she will be home as soon as she can. I check the time and see that its only 8:20PM, I decided to run myself a bath. I placed candles around the bath to make it more relaxing. Once it was full I put on my favourite playlist then hopped into the bath. I felt so relaxed. I'm happy with where I am, I haven't been this happy in so long. I could hear faint screams so I jump out of the shower and wrap a towel round be before heading out to the hall way.
"ALL YOU BOYS WANT IS SEX. YOU WANT TO GET INTO OUR HEADS AND MAKE US BELIVE YOU LOVE US AND THEN YOU LEAVE US AND COME RUNNING BACK WHENEVER YOU FUCKING FEEL LIKE IT" I heard Lucy scream. It went silent. I opened my bedroom door and poked my head out.
"Lucy, I'm not like him. I would never treat you the way Jack did" Beau said grabbing Lucy and pulling her into a hug. I walked to her room and was about to hug her but I had the smell of weed hit be like a ball to the face.
"WHAT THE FUCK LUCY?" I screamed.
"Katie, Please. I'm sorry." She cried. Beau shook his head at me, he doesn't understand.
