I stood staring at my targets. My eyes narrowed into thin slits as I held the blades in my hand. I quickly maneuvered around one stabbing it in the back as I stabbed the other in the front. The last target stood gawking at me. It's figure formed of cardboard and paint. I quickly threw the blade straight at the target, it hitting it bulls-eye. I fell to the floor as I brought my knees closer to my chest. It wasn't good enough I have to try again. I brushed the dirt off my black leather pants as I pulled the blades from the targets and set them back up again.
“Ms. Browning,” A stern voice spoke from behind me as I stopped my momentum and tensed up. I tried to hold the scowl off my face as I turned around to meet the dorm advisory, Agent Bayer. “It's almost midnight and curfew was two hours ago.” His voice ruff and hoarse, but it didn't compare to the Academy's head mistresses voice. God it was like scratching nails on a chalkboard. I gripped my blades more forcefully as I stood taller. I narrowed my eyes into slits as I glared at the older man.
“I don't care what time it is I am running a practice.” I hissed as I threw a blade behind me the sound of an impact was made noticeable throughout the room. Agent Bayer’s eyes glance behind me and then back to me before he folded his arms across his chest.
“Ms. Browning, I do not care you are running a practice,” Bayer stopped as his eyes glanced behind me, “You are to be treated as the rest of the A.I.T's.” Bayer scolded as I scoffed throwing another blade behind me in anger. The sound of another impact was heard and I know I was hitting my targets.
“But that's the thing, I'm not an 'Agent In Training',” I said as I pulled my fingers into quotation marks and mocked the system. “I'm already an agent. A good agent and I don't need to be here.” I growled as I threw the last blade behind me another sound of impact was heard and I almost smirked in satisfaction.
“Agent Tarnish would say otherwise.” Bayer muttered as I scowled at him. I pushed past him and left the training facility as I made my way through the dimly lit corridors. It was midnight and not a sound was audible in the tiny facility as I made way outside and towards the dorms. I was in Foster, ironic name for myself as I'm basically a foster child. The dorms were made up like cell blocks, but a little classier. White brick walls lined the interior and flickering lights led the way. I made my way into the elevator and up to floor 2 room 2C. The thing about our rooms is everyone has a two on their door, but it's the letter that changes. There is about 26 rooms on each floor for each letter of the alphabet. It makes sense really, but it's just different. I kicked my door open after unlocking it and closed it loudly behind me. I couldn't give two shits about anyone else in this facility. I don't have any friends even though I've been here for about two months. I don't care really, everyone is afraid of me anyway. I grabbed the chair that belong to the desk and pulled it towards the window. A screeching sound was music to my ears as I slid it across the linoleum flooring. I sat on the chair and stared up at the night sky. The moon shined bright against the glistening stars and I couldn't help but wonder what the boys were doing. I had no idea if they were safe and I had absolutely no idea if Finn was keeping them safe. I hate Finn. I absolutely distaste Finn and I would kill him on the spot if I could. I've seen to many deaths to count and seeing another wouldn't effect me. I'm numb to the thought of death now. Ever since I was deported back to Academy I built my walls so high Rapunzel’s hair wouldn't be long enough for the prince to climb. I have closed off everyone and became what most say as the trouble maker. I have been to the head mistresses office quite a few times, but I just sit there and stare at her until she gets frustrated and makes me leave. The only person that actually talks to me is Bayer. I have only muttered a word to Bayer the entire time I have been in this prison.
I sat staring up at the night sky till around three in the morning. My mind was ready for sleep and neither was my body. I wanted that taste of adrenaline. That mind racing rush of what if's. I wanted my pulsating, blood rushing, and mind haunting job back. When you arrive at Academy all electronic devices are taken, but they made an exception for me after I beat up a warden pretty bad. At night most of the time I would sit and research about the CTU. Not much shows up, but after hacking into several security cameras of the spy building I have heard some pointless conversations, but some spark interest. I decided to check up on the spy building in London. I grabbed my computer sitting on the desk and switched it on. I went into my surveillance folder and clicked on LHQ. (London Head Quarters). I plugged my headphones into the computer as I began switching between tapes. Something these criminals lacked was intelligence. They forgot to disable the security cameras in the entire building, but they did override it and make it so it was hard to get into. It took me about a day to override. The conference room was full of people making me click on it first. Voice flooded into my headphones as I listened intently.
