I helped Valencia with her room. As we worked we listened to Paramore CDs.
She lives in a fairy tale
Somewhere too far for us to find
Forgotten the taste and smell
Of the world that she's left behind
It's all about the exposure the lens I told her
The angles were all wrong now
She's ripping wings off of butterflies
Keep your feet on the ground

Well go get your shovel

So one day he found her crying
Coiled up on the dirty ground
Her prince finally came to save her
And the rest you can figure out
But it was a trick
And the clock struck 12
Well make sure to build your house brick by boring brick
or the wolves gonna blow it down

We played Brick by boring brick as loud as the stereo would let us. In the middle of the song Val grabbed me to jump with her on the bed. We jumped around singing as loud as our voices could go.
"Would you guys keep it down!" Val's step brother shouted.
"Hey!" Val and I yelled at the same time as he pulled out the plug of the stereo.
He walked out of the room satisfied with himself.
"I will have my revenge!" She yelled after him.
"Calm down chika we've finished with your room anyway and I'm hungry." I tried to calm her down.
"You me all too well." She smiled before grabbing her bag and mine.
"Here" She handed me my bag.
"Mum we need a ride to the mall." She announced as we walked into the lounge room which was still being arranged.
"The mall's not far you can walk."
"Mum, no I'm hungry. It'll take like two minutes of your time and we'll walk back." She's always been the persuader out of the two of us.
"Fine, grab my keys."
Val jumped with excitement. She then grabbed the keys and linked arms with me.
"Ready?" She asked.
I nodded knowing what we're going to do.
"We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of oz" We sang as we skipped to the car.
