Hermione

"Hermione, I found a spell so you can tell me what happened," Draco said.

"Okay... how does it work?" I asked.

"Well, it's painful for a couple seconds. The book recommends laying down first," he said.

"O...okay," I replied, laying down.

He said the spell a few times to make sure he had it right. He looked at me.

"Ready?" He asked.

"As I'll ever be," I replied.

He quickly muttered the spell and a headache quickly formed. It wasn't too painful but it hurt. After a few seconds the pain disappeared.

"That wasn't so bad," I said sitting up.

"Did it work? Can you tell me what happened?" He asked.

"Ron beat me," I replied quietly. "Yeah, I can tell you now."

He sat on the bed next to me.

"Will you tell me?" He asked.

I sighed and nodded.

"I watched as Hagrid carried Harry from the forest. My heart dropped.

"Harry Potter is dead, bla, bla, bla," the dark guy yelled.

I looked at Ron and tried to hug him. He quickly pushed my arm behind my back and slammed me to the ground, hoping to save his own life. I knew for a while he had changed, he didn't care anymore.

I yelled for someone to help me.

Ginny tried to push Ron off. I hadn't even seen the green light come before she dropped to the ground, dead. I screamed at Ron. Terror across his face.

The rest of the Weasley's tried to help other people, each dropping to the ground only seconds later. Ron became a a death eater.

I was taken to this place along with many other students. We were beaten, over and over. The cruciatus was used more times than I could count. We had many rules to follow.

1. Don't argue
2. Your always fine
3. Follow every order

We're the top three but it goes on and on forever. Disobey one rule, hours of torture.

One day, I was able to pick the lock and escape. Ron caught me in seconds and tortured me himself before branding me with the numbers 394, the name of his company. I was tortured every three hours sense then.

Beaten, cut, cursed, they got creative. All until one day, I escaped again. I made it far, until Ron slammed me to the ground. I was cursed, kicked, and sold. I was fortunate enough to get bought by you... now I don't have the fear of being dragged away by my hair every morning to be tortured all over again," I explained.

I had tears running down my face so I pointlessly wiped them away as more came. Draco wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his lap. He let me cry, another thing I wasn't allowed to do.

I stayed silent as I cried and tried not to shake much. Draco held me in his arms and I couldn't help but feel safe. It wasn't long before I fell into the world of extreme horrors and happiness.

Something touched my shoulder. Before I even thought I jumped on the floor and hid my head.

"Hermione?" A familiar voice asked softly.

I slowly looked up and saw Draco's face.

"You scared the daylight out of me," I sighed, standing up.

"Sorry, I ment to wake you," he said. "Mum wants you to come to dinner."

"Dinner? Are you sure?" I asked.

"That's what she said," he replied. "I got some clothes out for you. You need to get dressed and do your hair."

"Okay," I replied, grabbing my clothes and disappearing behind the bathroom door.

I got dressed in the simple white dress and did my hair nice. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Draco messing with his hair.

"We need to go," he said, leading me out the door. "Remember, only call me sir or master and don't talk unless your spoken to."

"Yes sir," I replied as we made it to the dining room.

I sat by Draco and was shocked when Luna sat across from me. She started at me with a blank face and I stared at her. Her skin was pale and she had cuts along her skin, like mine.

We ate the little food we were given when Narcissa spoke.

"Do you two know each other?" She asked.

"Yes Ma'am," I replied.

"Oh, you may talk if you-"

"No. They may not," Lucius cut in. "They are merely slaves, they may not socialize."

He stood from his seat and pulled me out of mine. I felt fear course though my body.

"This, thing is not a person. It is nothing. It matters not what I do to it as it does not matter. Observe," he said.

I hadn't seen it coming. His fist collided with my cheek making me fall to the ground. I coughed on blood for a moment before wiping my busted lip.

"Pathetic," Bellatrix growled.

I stood up and looked Lucius strait in the eyes.

"Excuse me while I clean myself up," I said before walking out of the room.

As the door shut behind me I ran. I ran all the way back to the room and went into the bathroom.

I looked at my busted lip and the large, purple bruise forming on my cheek. I washed my face and put pressure on my lip so it stopped bleeding. When he punched me my lip was cut on my tooth making it bleed a lot.

I sighed and went back to the bed. I picked up a book and began to read, trying to control my trembling.

It was at least ten minutes before Draco had walked in the room and shut the door.

"Are you alright?" He asked, walking up to me. "You took quite a punch, his fist was bleeding too."

"I'm fi- okay," I corrected myself.

He muttered a healing spell and my lip healed as well as the bruise.

"Good as new," he said.

"I don't understand how you came from a line of psychopaths," I said.

"Is that your way of saying you like me?" He asked.
