I slowly opened the door and saw a sleeping Hermione. If she had fallen asleep that quick she must be exhausted.I walked up to her and gently lifted her from the bed. I walked out of the room but was stopped by my aunt.
"Why are you carrying it?" She asked. "Get that filthy thing away from you!"
I knew what she wanted me to do. I didn't want to. But I did. I dropped Hermione and she fell flat against the floor. I prayed it didn't hurt her stomach.
Her eyes snapped open but saw my aunt. She somehow was able to keep from making any noise. My aunt let a smirk show on her face. I knew what was coming.
"Crucio," She yelled.
I refrained from flinching when Hermione screamed. My aunt stopped and ruffled my hair.
"Have fun," she said before walking off.
Just looking at Hermione made my heart clench. She was covered in deep cuts and bruises. She was struggling to keep her eyes open.
I carefully picked her up and quickly carried her to my room. I shut the door and put a quick silencing charm.
"Draco," she whimpered as I laid her on the bed. "It's fine."
"Shhh, just hold still," I muttered before starting with the healing spells.
She made very little sound as I healed the cuts and bruises. She actually looked really relaxed.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"I'm fine," she muttered, making my jaw clench. "I'm used to pain. I usually don't get healed though."
"You shouldn't be used to it," I said. "No person should ever be used to such an awful curse."
She closed her eyes.
"According to your father, aunt, and every person that isn't you Theo or Blaise I'm not a person," she replied.
I resisted the urge to slap her.
"Hermione, what did I tell you about talking like that?" I asked.
"To not to," she replied with a cheeky smile.
We both laughed. Hermione slowly sat up and rested her head on the headboard. She put a hand on her stomach.
"Draco," her voice went quieter, "it hurts again."
I was unbelievably thankful she told me this time. I muttered a healing spell and smiled.
"Isn't that better than waiting it out?" I asked.
"Much," she sighed.

"Hermione," I said, "I'm being summoned. Don't leave the room. The dark lord is supposed to send me on a mission today."
"Oh.. all right," she muttered.
Just before I apparated she grabbed the collar of my shirt and kissed me.
"Stay safe," she whispered.
"You too," I whispered back.
I apparated.
Hermione
I shifted on the bed and winced slightly. My stomach was sore and my body ached. I still had cuts and bruises on my skin from the cruciatus earlier.
I looked beside me to see the potions and food Draco had left. He left two sleeping droughts and five pain relief potions. I wondered how long he would be gone if he left this much.
(Five hours later)
I woke from a light sleep when the bedroom door opened. I kept my eyes closed.
"Draco?" I yawned.
"No," someone else said.
My eyes snapped open and I quickly sat up. I instantly cried in pain from the swift movement. Theo rushed forward and muttered a healing spell.
"Thank you so much," I breathed.
"It's my job," he replied with a small smile.
His smile quickly dropped.
"Where do you keep your clothes?" He asked.
"Why?" I asked in reply.
"I'll explain in a bit," he muttered.
"They're in that cupboard," I said, pointing to a cupboard.
He conjured a suitcase and stuffed all my clothes.
"W..what are you doing?" I stuttered.
"I'll explain in a bit," he repeated.
He waved his wand and the suitcase disappeared. I tensed when he walked towards me.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"W..where?" I asked, getting more terrified by the second.
"Relax Hermione," he said as I started to freak out. "We're going to my house."
I started hyperventilating. He sat in front of me.
"Hermione, breath," he told me.
He tightly gripped my hands in his. He slowly helped me get back my breathing.
"I..I'm sorry," I stuttered between breaths.
"It's okay, just concentrate on breathing," he replied softly.
I nodded and after a bit, I was breathing normally.
"I..I'm sorry... I just.. I haven't been away from this house since I.... and Draco he-"
"I'll explain everything in a bit. Draco asked me to come and get you," Theo stated.
"A..alright."
"Are you ready to go?" He asked.
I took a deep breath and nodded. He grabbed my hand and apparated.
We came to an unfamiliar room and my legs gave out. Theo quickly grabbed my arms making me wince. I didn't say a word when he picked me up and set me on the bed.
"Does anything hurt? I didn't think how apparating could effect you," Theo asked.
"No, I'm fine," I lied. "Why are we here?"
He took a deep breath and his face was solemn.
"Draco was injured on his mission. Hit strait on with sectumsempra. I was able to stop the curse but he needs time to heal. He is currently at St. Mungos recovering," Theo explained.
My hand shot to my mouth and tears sprang into my eyes.
"Is he okay?!" I all but yelled.
"He's fine, he just needs time to recover. He asked me to look after you while he is ill," he replied.
I took a few deep breaths to try and keep from having another panic attack.
"Hermione, he's okay. I'm a healer I know. He should be out of St. Mungos in a few days."
I struggled to breathe. Draco kept me safe from the second he got me. I never had to spend more than a few hours without him. How would I survive a few days?
I suddenly couldn't breathe. My lungs constricted and I gasped for air.
"Hermione!" Theo's voice came. "Pay attention to my voice."
I desperately needed to hold his hand or something. To my relief, he grabbed my hand and held it to his chest. I still couldn't breath so I got light headed. My vision slowly went blurry until I passed out.
