Caution, violence in this chapter... like, knives and Crap so... yeah.
I finally finished healing Hermione and cleaning the blood.
"Rennervate," I muttered.
She didn't wake up. I groaned knowing she had to wake on her own time.
I sat next to her and thought about just how many times she was tortured here. I thought about it for a while when something clicked in my mind. I am twenty years old. I am old enough to move out.
I jumped off the bed and went downstairs to find Mum.
~*~*~
"What do you mean you want to move out?!" Mum asked.
"I mean, I'm old enough to move out and I want to," I replied.
She sighed.
"Do you know where?" She asked.
I smiled.
"There's an apartment in town," I replied.
"Apartment?! I don't think-"
"Please Mum, it's only temporary. I want to find a nice house in the suburbs," I pleaded.
She was hesitant.
"I'll talk to your father about getting you a house," she told me.
"Thank you!" I smiled, pulling mum into a hug.
She wrapped her arms around me. I could tell she liked when I hugged her. I pulled back and raced upstairs.
I shut the door behind me and looked at Hermione. She had an arm over her face and she was lightly snoring. I smiled and crawled in bed next to her.
Narcissa
I was going to tell Draco we found him a house. I opened his bedroom door and took a moment to look at the sight before me.
Draco and Hermione were both fast asleep. They were cuddled up with his arms around her and her head on his shoulder. I smirked when his grip tightened and a smile brushed her lips.
I shut and locked the door before going downstairs.
Hermione
He dragged a rusty knife across the bars on our cages. Every one of us was shaking.
"Which one today? Hmm? Who wants to be tortured today?" He asked.
He stopped suddenly in front of the girl next to me. I let out a small sigh of relief, big mistake. He turned his head towards me.
"How about you?" He said more than asked.
He unlocked my cage, grabbed my hair, and slammed my body out of the cell. I tried to crawl so he wasn't pulling my hair so much but I was far too weak.
He took me to a familiar room. I started sobbing.
"Please... please," I sobbed.
He smacked me, hard. I felt the cold ground hit my head. He pulled me up my my hair and dragged me to the chains on the wall.
He pulled out his knife again.
"You will stay conscious the entire time or I will torture five others in your place," he told me. "Understand?"
I nodded weakly. I screamed when he dragged the knife into my thigh. He made line after line into my skin. He traced over old wounds. I desperately tried to stay conscious. I screamed again when he made a deep line in my arm.
I opened my eyes but I couldn't move.
"She's awake," Draco stated.
"Good, keep her that way, her body can't stand much more of this," I heard Theo say.
I felt another sharp pain and cried. Draco leaned close to me and stroked my hair.
"Shhhh, look at me. Don't look at what he's doing, just concentrate on my face," he whispered softly.
I did as I was told but let the tears fall freely. He ran his thumb over my wet cheeks.
"It's okay now," he whispered. "Just concentrate on my handsome, face."
I let a laugh out but it sounded more like a cough. After a few minutes, Theo finished healing me and took the body
bind off of me."I..I'm sorry," I whimpered.
"It's fine... I need to leave, I left before break," Theo stated.
Draco said bye and Theo apparated. Draco gathered me into his arms and held me tightly.
"I'm so sorry," I whispered.
Draco
"It's not your fault. It's okay," I told her.
She was still crying. I kissed her head and held her a bit tighter. A knock at the door scared the living snot out of her. I set her back on the bed and opened the door.
"Draco, I have great news, but I need to steal you for a while," Mum said.
"But I-"
"Great!" She exclaimed, grabbing my arm and rushing downstairs. "I found you a house!"
"Really where?" I asked.
"On the edge of town," she replied.
"When can we go see it?" I continued.
"Now, if you like," she smiled.
She grabbed my arm and apparated.
We came to a beautiful, Victorian style house. It was two story and had a large oak door. When we went inside it had hard wood floors and tall ceilings. The house had a total of six rooms and three bathrooms.
"Good for little grandchildren," Mum told me. "Just don't go getting that Granger girl pregnant yet. Not until this war blows over."
"I wouldn't do that to her," I replied. "She's already been traumatized."
"Who... who did it?" Mum asked.
"Weasley," I muttered.
She looked bewildered.
"Ronald?" She asked.
"Yup," I replied.
"Why?"
"Because he's a twisted creep," I spat.
Mum nodded.
"What do you think of the house?" She asked.
"I think it's perfect for little Malfoy heirs," I replied with a smile.
Mum smiled.
"How many do you want to have?" Mum asked.
"As many as Hermione wants," I replied. "Or as many as she can."
"We should probably head back. You don't want to leave her alone for so long after..."
I nodded and grabbed her arm.
I apparated.
