Screaming. I woke again to screaming. I opened my eyes to see Hermione thrashing on the bed screaming until her voice cracked. I quickly cast a weak silencing charm to keep everyone from waking up.

"RON... PLEASE STOP," she screamed. "No! Please!"

She let a tortured scream escape her lips. She thrashed on the bed as I tried to hold her down.

"Hermione! WAKE up!" I yelled.

Unexpectedly, all the wounds I healed when I got her began to open and bleed... another curse. Hermione was sweating, crying, bleeding, and screaming. I desperately tried to heal the wounds.

The door opened and mum rushed in. Locking the door and casting a better silencing charm.

"Draco?! What's happening?!" She asked, running over.

I put a silencing charm and body binding curse on Hermione.

"There's a curse on her nightmares," I explained.

Mum started muttering an indication. She repeated it three times before the bleeding ceased.

"Wake her up while I get a sleeping drought for her," mum ordered, leaving the room.

I took the charms off Hermione. Her arms wrapped around her thin frame and she had tears streaming down her cheeks. She was twitching uncontrollably.

I roughly shook her shoulder.

"Hermione, wake up," I said, still shaking her.

Her eyes slowly opened and tears filled her eyes.

"Draco?" She whimpered.

"It's okay now," I said, stroking her hair.

She jumped up and hugged me for a moment before jumping off my lap in fright.

"I...I'm sorry!" She panicked. "I..I didn't mean..."

"It's okay, just calm down," I shushed. "Mum will be back in a moment with a sleeping drought and you'll be better."

"No... please no... j..just let me fall asleep on my own... I'm fine," she squeaked.

She looked around and noticed the blood on her and the bed. I looked at her closely and noticed something was wrong. Fear was the only emotion in her eyes, and she looked strait at me.

Mum came back in the room with the potion in hand. She saw Hermione and relaxed some.

"Thank heaven your alright," she said. "I brought you a sleeping drought."

"No... I'm fine," Hermione said in a far off tone. "I will just fall asleep on my own."

She was determined.

"You should still drink it," I said. "You need to let your body heal. After that nightmare I don't think your gonna sleep well."

"No... I'm fine," she muttered. "I just won't sleep."

"Okay, just call if you need anything," mum said, starting to walk out the door.

"Mum wait!" I said.

"No... I'm fine," Hermione muttered. "I don't need it... I'm fine."

Mum froze in her tracks. She turned around and shut the door.

"Hermione?" I asked, snapping in her face.

She didn't blink.

I grabbed her shoulders and shook her lightly. She didn't react in the slightest.

"Please... just no," she muttered. "I'm fine."

"We need to just make her take the sleeping drought. The effects of the curse still haven't faded," mum said, grabbing the potion again. "Make her lay down."

I tried to make her lay down but Hermione started sobbing.

"Please... please," she sobbed. "Not again... please."

"Hermione, it will help you," I said.

I slowly pushed her down on the bed and mum came up to her with the potion. I had to hold Hermione down when she started fighting mum.

"Please.. not again!" Hermione sobbed.

"Hermione listen to me," I said, "you need it before you sleep again."

Hermione kept struggling so mum quickly got the potion in her mouth. Hermione swallowed it and her eyes started to droop. She was fighting the effects of the potion.

"Please... not again," she cried. "Not again."

The potion overpowered her and she fell asleep.

"Why did she freak out with the potion?" Mum asked.

"Probably something to do with the weasel. That's what she was dreaming about," I said. "He probably did something to her to make her hate it. She refused it the other day too, just not as obviously."

"Alright... I'll be back in the morning. Clean up the blood and sleep well."

Mum left the room. My mind was left to wonder what the girl beside me went through and what she wasn't telling me.

Hermione (earlier)

I woke in my cell. It was a dream... being saved... it was all a dream. I started sobbing to myself.

I looked up when the lock on my cell clicked. Ron.

He grabbed my hair making me cry out. He dragged me across the rough stone floor the the usual room.

"Ron... please..." I whimpered.

"Shut it, Mudblood," he growled.

He slammed me on the ground and bound my wrists. I knew what was coming, I held my breath.

"Crucio."

I screamed in agony. He repeated it over and over, every once and a while healing me to keep me alive.

I was suddenly being held down. It wasn't Ron holding me. Nothing.

"Hermione, wake up," It was a distant voice, almost a whisper.

It was quickly forgotten when another wave of pain hit me. Pain all over again. I was laying in a pool of crimson blood.
I tried to scream but no sound came out. My lips moved but no sound escaped. I couldn't move my arms or legs. Ron continued to torture me, over and over.

The pain ceased. My limbs released and my voice back.

"Hermione, wake up," the voice came again.

My eyes opened. I felt more tears fill my eyes when I saw Draco.

"Draco?" I whimpered.

"It's okay now," he said softly, stroking my hair.

I was comforted to see him there until her mentioned sleeping drought. I kept telling him I was fine. I was being held down. Draco was keeping me from moving while his mum came with the potion.

Memories flashed in my head. The worst memories I'd ever had.

"Please.... please," I cried over and over. "Not again."

The potion was forced into my mouth. I felt it slowly taking effect.

"Please," I whispered, "not again... not again."

I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

Hermione (morning)

I groaned when I moved my arms. My entire body was aching. I slowly opened my eyes to see I was in a bed, Draco's bed.

I started crying with joy when I realized the dream was fake. I looked to my side to see Draco, holding my hand in his. I moved closer to him and put an arm around his waist.

I sobbed quietly as I held him. I thought last night I lost everything I thought I had. I relived parts of memories I wished to never revisit.

Now I was safe, in my bed... Draco's bed.
