Draco (eight days later)

I felt the bed move. Instantly my eyes snapped open and looked at Hermione. She shifted.

"Hermione," I whispered. "Are you awake?"

No reply. I waited a moment longer before I sighed and turned back over. That was the first time she moved in eight days.

(Five days later)

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped the towel around my waist. I stepped in front of the mirror.

My chest had healed but left deep scars across my chest. They were almost in the same spots as the old scars. The old scars weren't as deep as these but of course, Potter wasn't nearly as skilled at the spell as a trained death eater.

I completely froze when I heard a sound, an almost inaudible whimper. I quickly got clothes on, ditching the shirt, and went to the room.

Hermione was whimpering softly.

"Hermione!" I smiled, scaring her by mistake. "Your awake!"

My sudden outburst made her jump making her whimper a bit louder. I realized she was in pain.

"Hold on just a moment..." I said as I cast a patronus to Theo.

The Dragon flew out the window and flew to Theo.

I rushed to sit by Hermione. Her eyes were cracked and she was holding her body.

"It'll all be better soon," I muttered softly.

"What happened?" She asked, her voice cracking a lot.

I summoned her a glass of water and slowly helped her drink it while I explained.

"Thirteen days ago you stopped Rufus from using the cruciatus on Theo. You used magic. My aunt ran after you when you bolted and used so many different curses on you," I explained. "She told Theo to heal you."

She finished the water.

"Mmm," she hummed in understanding.

She brought a very weak hand to my chest. Her soft fingers traced a scar.

"Is it healed?" She asked.

"Yes, it's healed. Doesn't even hurt anymore," I lied. "Theo came every morning to check on us."

"That's nice."

Just as Hermione finished talking Theo opened the bedroom door. He had a bag over his shoulder. Hermione slipped her cold hand in mine as Theo pulled a chair by the bed.

"Good morning," he greeted.

"Morning," Hermione greeted back.

He started digging around in his bag and pulled out a bunch of potions. Hermione just stared at him.

"How do you feel?" He asked, still digging in his bag.

"Fin-... it hurts... a lot," she stated with a strained voice.

My heart clenched. She admitted she was in pain. It had to hurt a lot for her to admit it like that. I ran my thumb over her knuckles and she relaxed a bit.

"Alright... strength potion, blood replenishing potion, dinnanty, pain relief potion, and sleeping drought," Theo muttered, counting the potions.

Hermione lightly gripped my hand at that last one. Theo set the potions on the nightstand and smiled at Hermione.
"How long have you been awake? I was here three hours ago," Theo asked.

"Ten minutes or so..." She replied.

He nodded and pulled a blank chart out of his bag. He scribbled notes on it.

"Can you squeeze my hand?" He asked, holding his hand out to her.

She put her free hand in his and squeezed lightly.

"Any harder?" He asked.

"That's all I got," Hermione replied.

Theo scribbled the notes down. He muttered a few spells for heartbeat and temperature and wrote them down. Then he started making her drink potions. She drank all of them except the sleeping drought.

I mentally cursed Theo for giving her the strength potion before sleeping drought. He tried to get her to drink it but she pushed his hand away.

"Hermione, you need to drink it," he told her.

"I don't want to," she whimpered.

"It will help you heal faster," Theo continued.

"I'm not going to take it," Hermione said stubbornly.

"Hermione," I cut in, "remember our conversation? You told me even if you didn't want to, you wanted me to make you."

Any color she gained in her face fled.

"Please just let me sleep on my own," she pleaded.

"You won't heal like that Hermione," Theo said.

Unexpectedly, she jumped off the bed and ran for the door. She realized it was locked and her legs finally gave out.

She screamed at me when I picked her up and she struggled. I was careful not to touch any wounds as I carried her. She screamed and tried to fight as I held her to the bed. I held her arms down and put my knee over her legs.

Theo quickly got the potion in her mouth and she stopped struggling. She passed out. I slowly released her and sat by her on the bed.

"I hope you didn't hurt her..." Theo said, looking at her still body.

"I was careful... I'm just worried she hurt herself in the process," I replied.

Theo muttered a few healing spells before turning to me.

"How's your chest?" He asked.

I looked down at it.

"Hurts like fire," I replied. "I lied to her though.

He tossed me a potion which I quickly caught.

"Pain relief potion," he said as I studied the potion.

I nodded and drank it.

"Thanks," I muttered.

He looked at the clock and cursed.

"My break is over in two minutes," he said, standing up.

He grabbed a lot of potions out of his bag and set them on the nightstand.

"Their all labeled just use them when you need them," he told me before apparating.

I looked over at Hermione. She was out cold. I moved so my side was against hers and my back against the headboard. She surprised me by shifting so her head was in my lap. I smiled and played with her hair.

She gripped my shirt and dug her nose into my stomach.

When I woke up I went strait to the shower. Hermione was still sound asleep so I didn't worry.

I relaxed under the showerhead and let the hot water cover my body.
