(Ellie's POV)

He had ran using his vampire speed to the village area, going past the market towards the entrance when I saw some of the people who work for my dad.

"Harry we can't go back. Follow me." I mention not giving too many details just in case someone overheard. I took a hold of his hand and whisked us away towards an alley way which led behind an old shop. I looked around the corner to check no one had followed us and found we were safe.

"Sorry, it's just that there were some people who work for my dad were there and I thought it would be best not to be caught if you get-" I explained before he cut me by kissing me. My arms were wrapped around his neck, his arms also extending around me to pull me closer toward his body. Our lips were either brief and intense or long and wanting, switching between both just happy to be together. We were like this for a while to pass the time, unsure of how we were going to get out so we were going to live each moment as great as we could. 

"Don't you ever learn to stay away" A familiar voice saidmaking us stop and face them. It was one of my dad's friends who he worked closely with when working who was holding a shotgun in front of us with the aim intending to be Harry. He had been my dads mate since before I was born but I knew he would do anything to impress my dad like the sheep he was. Harry see's the shotgun and stands in front of me to protect me like it was his first instinct.

"No Harry don't" I muttered trying to get from behind him so I could shield him but his grip was a little too strong forcing me to stay behind him. It's a little foolish because I could protect him from getting shot because he wouldn't shoot me because of my dad.

"Clever move coming into the astral plane " He continues as I manage to stand in front of him. I could never remember his name so that didn't help.

"Don't do this" I demanded trying to use what little authority I had to help.

"Ellie he's a killer" He commented, his hand shaking a little.

"If you kill him you'll be a killer" I replied.

"I'm sorry" He lied lifting up the gun. He pulled the trigger and as the bullet came out aiming for Harry, the bullet and his whole body movement suddenly went into slow motion until Harry and my dad's friend completely froze as well as the bullet. I looked at Harry and shook him not understanding how this was possible.

"Harry?" I asked trying to move his body but it was as if it were made of concrete, unable to move. 

"What are you doing Helen?" I heard my dad's voice ask from behind me, making me turn around before they could blink. My mother and father were stood together, somehow coming from the nowhere.

"Making sure we keep her alive" She answered him. I walked up to them hurrying a little unsure of how long I have until the spell wears off.

"Let him go. Please. He hasn't done anything wrong" I cried out, the tears extremely faint but still easily visible to them to make them feel some sort of sympathy towards me as I begged. My mum's face was weakened by my reaction as I could see the sympathy was written all over her face but my dad's was stuck in his normal way's.

"He's a vampire" He replied disgusted by what I said.

"I know and I can't change that but don't kill him. I love him " I spoke, my voice croaking at my confession. I look towards my mum watching as she took the bullet from the air and dropped it on the floor. Looking towards Harry, he was stood there looking ready to fight in front of where I was stood to take the bullet and his reaction was still unchanged.

"Ryan. Let me do what I said earlier" She stated, my head turning to look at both of them.

"What did you say earlier?" I asked desperately.

"We're going to put him in astral plane full of other vampires, that way you will have your wish and I can have mine" He answered.

"This isn't my wish." I snapped.

"It's better than mine." He joked looking towards my mum.

"How can I trust he will be safe?" I asked.

"Have you lost that much trust in us?" He replied.

"Yes." I answered.

"After everything we've done for you. The sacrifices we have made to protect you-" He began disgusted me.

"Ryan stop. Ellie, yes he will be safe." She interrupted. I took a deep breath trying to stop myself from crying, trying to stay in control of the situation.

"Will I ever be able to see him again?" I asked looking towards my mum for an answer but as she walks towards Harry, I knew the answer already. She placed her palm flat on Harry's forehead which unfreezes him. His body completely relaxed back in the time he was in but now that the scene was different, his body was suddenly in a slight shock.  I run up to him and hug him tightly knowing it would be one of my last hugs from him for a while until I could get him out of this.

"Are you alright? What happened?" He asked pulling me in closer. I could see over my shoulder my Mum looking over at me and mouthed the words 'Sorry' as if they could make a difference. Harry tore away from me, still holding me but now being able to look around me as he noticed my parents had obviously appeared out of no where.

"When did they -" He began before he was cut off.

"You two should say your goodbyes" My dad interjected looking ready to kill Harry at any second.

"What do they mean goodbyes?" He quizzed looking back at me.

"I love you so much Harry." I spoke quietly gazing into his green glowing eyes.

"Why are you saying goodbye Ellie? I'm not leaving you." He demanded disorganisingly.

"I'm doing this to protect you." I say, my voice breaking as I try to hold in my tears. I suddenly pressed my lips onto his. I could hear my mother starting the spell from behind me so I let his lips go, but still keeping a hold of his hands.

"Facite rursus cum lapis in nebula Partum ossa cineresque forti sanguine rubro Alio modo per gratiam et coaequalem eius Creare mundum pacificis cum beata " She chanted. In between the spell, all of a sudden my dad was pulling me away from Harry, his hands gripped a hold of my waist making it difficult to keep a strong grasp of Harry's hands.

"No! " I shouted when my hands slipped away from his. I tried to run back to Harry but he was now stuck by a Tornado type wind surrounding him and trapping him.

"What's happening?" He shouted. I ran towards him, managing to squirm out of my dad's grip towards the wind.

"There's got to be another way. Please!" I said letting out all my tears not being able to be strong.  He could see that I was crying so he tried to calm me down but my continuous banging on the wind to get him out wasn't working. I knew I was frantic because I knew I was loosing him.

"Ill be back Ellie I promise, I've told you I'm never letting you go." He spoke. The wind felt like a strong glass window against my hands but as I could hear everything he was saying over the sound of the wind, I knew it was too strong for me.

"No no no." I uttered trying to use my magic to resist the spell but nothing was working. Why wasn't anything working?

"I love you Ellie. I always have and I always will" He said. I couldn't continue failing at trying to get him out with the little time we had together. I placed my hand on the surface whilst on the other side Harry put his hand in the same bit of glass as well. The vision of him because fo the wind was becoming more distant and blurrier to see.

"I love you Harry" I say. The wind becomes worse and the without even being able to inhale, the wind suddenly disappears and dies down until there is nothing where Harry was.

"I need you" ...
