(Ellie's POV)

I noticed that Laura saw me walking past her and her other friends, the girls who didn't particularly like me. She waved for me to come and join her but I couldn't, I wasn't in the mood, especially for 20 questions from the others as to why I don't hang out like a normal person. I mouthed the words 'Sorry' and the response she gave me was just a nod as if she understood. She knew I didn't trust the others and I'm still upset about Harry so she didn't push things. When she came here, she was so kind and nice and I was grateful she had joined us here too.

I walked into a small ingredient shop instead of the market, to get the ingredients that my mum wanted. I didn't want to risk getting caught by the two guys in the market and this place had just as good stuff too so it's a win win. When I went in, the bell made my presence known which meant I had to start looking around for the stuff when I started to listen to these two women talking.

"Did you hear about that girl who ran away from the astral plane and went back to the vampires, silly girl claims she's in love" One of the women said catching my attention. Someone left the portal? You can do that? I thought my dad said you couldn't leave, it would make sense if you could.

"Didn't she die? Because that's not what I heard. I heard that they hung her for her disobedience, apparently she wanted to resurrect some dead witch Ophelia I think but then again I did hear that from Maggie " she asked laughing towards the end. I began to slowly walk so I could hear them and not look as weird.

"No she was just put away, poor thing ,only twenty as well. It's crazy was a legend can make the youths do nowadays " The other women replied making me turn around and walk closer towards them so I could hear what they were saying.

"I heard she went through the entrance at night but her grandfather or some what or other was on the other side waiting" The original women spoke but at the point, I was holding a jar of Sheep's hearts but when I heard what they said I accidentally dropped it on the floor. This meant there was a way to see Harry, I could finally be with him, I could escape. I craved the thought of him but the thought was quickly went from my mind when the women from the counter saw that I dropped the jar and came over to my aid. I felt a sharp pain on the top of my foot which snapped me out of my day dream.

"Oh my I'm so sorry" I apologised as I tried to clean it up, attempting to wipe my blood away from the scene.

"Ma'am , it's fine, they were off anyway and we've got people to clean mishaps don't worry. Is there anything I can help you with?" She said offering her assistance, I rummaged through the pocket of my dress to get my list out and I handed it to her. She read through it looking around to see if everything was here until she spoke up.

"I'll go check if we've got turtle wax, a lady asked earlier but I think she took the last of it " She said putting the list in her apron. She thankfully didn't notice that it was me, otherwise she would be asking questions.

"Okay thanks" I quickly replied before she ran off to collect the items . A man came over and scooped it all up and wiped up all the mess as I started to think again. I can see Harry again. I was so desperate to see him. The memory of his brown curly hair, his emerald green eyes, his soft lips against mine, it was consuming me. I wanted to go now so badly but I knew I couldn't just leave. What would I tell mum and dad? It was a ridiculous notion that at my age I would have to tell them but with them being so controlled of what happens in my life, it's easier to make sure they don't know. Would I bring everything? Would I ever come back? What if the portal is protected at night? I had to risk it. The risk was worth the reward.

As the lady came back with the basket and was double checking the basket, I took a glance at my foot watching as the blood stopped coming out of my foot, it starting to heel. Because I'm linked to Harry, anything that happens to him happens to me, visa-versa. I have felt him become injured a couple of time since I've been here but this will be a first for him to feel me injured since I've left.

"I'm sorry, we don't have any turtle wax until tomorrow but we have some tortoise wax?" she said as she handed over the basket smiling.

"No thanks, someone will come back for it tomorrow" I lied, smiling a little handing over the money.

"Keep the change" I commented before leaving. I won't be back tomorrow that's for sure, I'm hoping I won't be here in this astral plane tomorrow. I'll be with Harry tomorrow, that's something I am sure of.
