THE BIRTHDAY PART TWO
*
Tia's POV
She was so angry with us.
"You are an hour late! I told you specifically that we needed 4 hours to get ready, now we only have 3, look at her hair shoved up in a bun it will be one huge knot that'll take me 30 minutes to sort out, then she has to pick an outfit have you ever been in her presence when she's choosing an outfit? then she has to do her makeup, it's not a ten minute job you know, and after all that I have to find time to get myself ready." We'd literally taken one step into my apartment and this is how Lydia greeted us.
We just stood in shock as she shouted at Hunter. "Shut the fuck up and breathe." Hunter ordered. "It's all taken care of."
"Because we now have to rush to be ready you better make sure you're here on the dot, if you are late I will personally cut your balls, understood." She pointed a finger in his direction, remind me not to cross her today.
"Loud and clear you crazy bitch." He muttered causing me to snort in a non lady like manner. Hunter turned to me. "I'm sorry to leave you with this crazy person, I have to pick my sister up but I'll see you later." He winked placing a small kiss to my cheek.
"Ok." I breathed. "Thank you for today so far." He nodded then walked out of the apartment and left me with the crazy woman, who practically had steam coming from her ears,
"Chop chop." She shouted. "Get your ass in your room." Jesus Christ woman. Nonetheless I threw my jacket on the sofa and walked into my bedroom, just like Hunter said there was a box on my bed with a shiny silver bow on the top.
"Where have you been for the past 4 hours?" She asked stepping into my room.
"Having lunch on a boat on the lake." I grinned, I couldn't stop smiling I needed to get a grip of my life.
"Well from the smile on your face I don't need to ask how it went." She smirked.
"I don't think there's even a good enough word to describe it." I sighed, plonking myself on the bed next to the box.
"Is this your present from him?" She asked examining the box, I swatted her hands away, the box looked to pretty to have her paws all over it.
"Hmm." I nodded. "He's already done enough." She grabbed my wrist examining the bracelet and the two charms hanging from it.
"Romantic bastard." She whispered. "Well open it then."
I did as I was told and pulled the lid off the box revealing black material wrapped in sparkly paper. My mouth hung open as I pulled the material from the box and held it in front of me.
"Is that Dior?" Lydia asked in astonishment. I turned it round and checked the tag, she was right it was Dior. It was also the most beautiful dress I'd ever saw in my life. "He's really going all out isn't he." She muttered, taking the dress from me and hanging it up.
"I've told him to stop spending money on me."
"What the fuck you do that for? Hello." She waved a hand in my face. "He buys you Jimmy choo shoes, a sparkly bracelet and a Dior dress, honey you accept those kinda gifts with open arms, have I taught you nothing?"
I rolled my eyes, making myself comfy on the bed, it wasn't all about materialistic things, I mean yeah the gifts were beautiful and I'll treasure every single one of them but even without all the fancy things I'm almost positive I'd still be bat shit crazy about him.
