MY GIRL

*

Tia's POV

I paced back and forth across the boys living area, I'd been back home, showered and changed, to make myself feel a little better and look a bit more presentable. Hunter, Jarred and Jack had gone straight to his room when we arrived upstairs and closed the door, I'm guessing he didn't want to see me right now.

Can you blame him? You did shoot him. I didn't have time for my stupid subconscious trying to make me feel even more guiltier than I already did.

I paced even more, I felt awful. I had no clue what damage I'd caused to his arm, and the suspense was killing me. It wasn't like I did it on purpose, it was an honest mistake.

I couldn't help thinking about so many crazy scenarios, that my brain had conjured up during all this thinking time. What if he never regains full Strength back in that arm again? Or what if he has to have it amputated. Would he still want me as his girlfriend then? I don't think so. J

The front door opened slowly and Lydia's head popped round. Oh she was alive? I'd text her 10 times telling her to stop shopping and come home and rescue me. I needed back up and let's be honest if Hunter was angry, Lydia was the perfect person to protect me.

Let's be honest I needed as much help as I could get right now.

Noticing I was alone she crept in. "What the fucks going on?" She whispered looking around. "You only text me that when it's an emergency." She touched my face and checked me over head to toe. Mine and Lydia's code word, if the words SOS were sent it meant some serious shit was going down.

"Look I didn't mean to shoot him ok, it was a total accident." I rushed out frantically, her face visibly paled and she let go of me, taking a slight step back. Her mouth hung over and she placed a hand over it.

"Oh my god. You shot my baby, Tia what the fuck! How could you do that to him? how did it happen? Scrap that why did it fucking happen?" Huh? She'd totally got the wrong end of the stick.

"Not Jarred you stupid cow, Hunter I shot Hunter!" Relief washed over her face and she closed her mouth.

"Oh. Shit thank god for that." She blew out. "Not good for Hunter though obviously." She shrugged. How very insensitive of her. "How the hell did you manage to shoot him?" I explained the story from the beginning, in hushed tones obviously.

"So yeah he's barely spoken a word to me since." I finished. Lydia had listened intensely throughout. "Do you think he hates me?"

All of a sudden she burst into a fit of laughter. I clamped a hand over her huge gob. "It's not fucking funny." Once she agreed she'd be a little quieter and controlled her fits of giggles, I let her speak and removed my hand.

"That's the best story ever! I mean Karma's a bitch that's what you get when you decide to share your saliva with your ex girlfriend, smart move Tia I like it." She shrugged. "I underestimated you."

"Lydia I'm serious here." I stomped my foot trying to make her act like an adult for more than ten seconds. "They completely shut me out, he could be dying in there."

She rolled her eyes. "I'm sure if you killed the mafia leader they would of made a move by now!" She told me. Maybe I should make an escape plan just incase. I didn't even take into consideration the mafia coming after me, which rightly so if I've killed their leader.

"Pull yourself together woman." She announced shaking me slightly. "You shot him in the arm not the heart, get a grip!" She demanded making me jump slightly, she stormed down the corridor, I heard her open Hunter's bedroom door with some force, before hearing muffled voices.
