IN THE CLUB PART TWO
Hunter POV
The shock on Tia's face was evident the moment I closed the door, this way we could talk privately without being interrupted or unable to hear each other over the music.
And just incase she wanted to make out again.
"You own this place?" She asked in a shocked tone.
"Yes." I replied arrogantly, "When my dad signed everything over to me, this place was included."
"That's pretty cool." She said. "Now I understand why we got a free fancy bottle of champagne." She doubted me too much even if I didn't own the club I still would of found out which club they were in and sent a bottle over.
"Even if I didn't own this place, you'd still get a fancy bottle of champagne," I told her smugly. She underestimates me. I can be a gentleman if I really try. I've just never been bothered about acting that way, until now.
"Have you been here the whole night?" She asked with raised eyebrows.
I nodded admitting that we had. "If you're gonna party id rather you did it in a place I know you'll be safe." Where I can keep an eye on you I silently added.
"And why is that because you can watch over me?" She rolled her eyes.
Obviously. I smirked giving her the answer she already knew.
"Explain to me why you think this is your fault?" I asked her to which she sighed taking a seat on the chair by the desk, getting straight to the point.
"I only went on that date with him because I lost that game of pool on his birthday, and I only agreed to a second date because my head was a mess, we weren't talking at the time so I said yes. Then we kissed and it changed things completely, it's my fault because he probably feels like I led him on." Even the thought of the two of them on a date made me feel physically sick.
"He's a bunny boiler." I told her. I grabbed her hands and pulled her towards me. "Tia you can't help if you don't feel for him in that way. You can't force something that isn't there." She nodded slowly. I was heartless I was jumping for joy right now she didn't like him in that way that definitely puts me in a good position. I was a happy man.
"I feel so bad though, he's walked in here got the wrong impression completely." She said sadly. Who gives a shit what the kid thinks, he's an idiot and needs to stop acting like a fucking teenage girl.
"Tia you barely know him, seriously you went on one date and that's only because you lost a bet, this isn't your fault. I swear if he keeps making you feel like you've done something wrong I'll snap his legs."
"Hunter no please don't do that!"
"No Tia I will. He's fucking obsessed with you!"
Not that I could talk, I'm pretty much besotted with her, I had an idea that she must kinda like me else her body wouldn't of acted the way it did that night, but she was so hard to fucking read I was constantly doubting myself, and she needs to stop focusing on all the negatives all the time, she's done nothing wrong to Lucas.
I needed to man the hell up, I needed my mind to focus on making a plan of finally ending this shit with the Jones family. Closure for me and closure for my dad, but no matter what my brain focuses around the blonde haired beauty stood in front of me.
"Doesn't stop me from feeling bad." She said with a sad look upon her face.
Fucking Lucas making her feel like this it wasn't fair. I really should beat his deadbeat ass.
