Hunter's POV
"You ready?"
Was I? Could I do this? I was nervous as hell and really starting to get real agitated, She'd be here any second. Even the tequila, for a little Dutch courage was failing miserably.
I'm Hunter Blake for crying out loud, I shouldn't be feeling this way.
"Mate stop pacing she's going to say yes!" How could he be so sure, yet I wasn't feeling confident. Like at all. I haven't been a great boyfriend at times, this was a huge step for her, even if she does say she's not ready right now, that's fine at least she knows how committed I am to her, there's never going to be anyone else.
"It's not just that.." I admitted, "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing Jarred, how do I do this? I've never fucking proposed before."
I really should of planned this out properly.
"Fuck knows, I've never done this either I'm probably the worst person to give you advice!" The bastard actually laughed.
"It's not funny!"
"It is," he continued laughing, "Mate look at you your a mess, I never thought I'd see the day you're stood in front of me sweating with a diamond worth thousands sat in your pocket, it's a fucking miracle."
"Babe leave him alone," Lydia interrupted before turning to me, "I'm sure you'll know exactly what to do when you see her, you're definitely on the right track, she loved the little notes by the way." She paused before her eyes widened, "actually back the fuck up. How much was the ring?"
Who knew there'd be a day when Loony Lydia would be more helpful than Jarred. I was also glad Tia liked my little messages, I know she's probably been fuming with my ass all day, for leaving her alone all day.
"Good," I replied, "what about the dress?" She had to like the dress.
"She loved the dress and the shoes, chill."
"And they fit ok? They're comfortable for her to walk in? The woman in the store said they were comfy, I don't want her breaking her ankle in them or anything stupid!"
"Yes Hunter they fucking fit her, will you pull yourself together." Lydia shook me violently.
"Fuck off." I groaned, it was easier said than done.
I took a deep breath and calmed myself, I didn't stay calm for long though, the sound of a car screeching to a halt out front caught our attention, Mick wants to double check his driving licence if he thinks he can drive erratically like that, especially with my girlfriend in the back seat.
"HELP!" A girls voice screamed, I was relieved it wasn't Tia's voice, who may I add was now running rather late herself.
This was normal for girls though right? Now we had some crazy girl yelling, is anything ever straight forward in my life? Can't even propose in peace. Someone's always there to try and ruin it.
The three of us darted round the back of the house and out of the gate that would lead us back onto the driveway. "That's my sister." Jarred spoke as we ran around to the other side of the car, Jarred's predictions were right, Rebecca was attempting to help someone out of the car, her clothes covered in blood.
