Hunter's POV

"So I bought you some clean clothes, your iPad and 4 cans of Guinness." I placed the bag in my hands onto my sisters hospital bed, "I know I'm the best brother ever."

"Hunter." Tia scolded, "you don't buy a hospital patient alcohol."

I ignored her comments and looked directly at Kyle, "the doctor said her iron levels are low right? Guinness is full of iron, it'll do her good." If anything they should all be thanking me, that she'll be out of here in no time if she takes my advice.

"Hunter, Tia's right I can't have alcohol in here, they'll probably cart me off to one of those alcoholic anonymous groups." Yeah nice one Tia, id taken time out of my day to go to the shop and buy those beers, least they could all be was fucking grateful.

"In some sense it would be helpful, not that I'm condoning bringing alcohol into a hospital setting." Jack muttered beside me. Look at the dodgy doctor over here defending me. Is he feeling alright?

"That's settled it then, doctors orders." I pushed the cans back in front of my sister, on the little table positioned over her bed.

"It's not even midday, do you mind if I hold off for a little while?" She remarked sarcastically.

"You do whatever you feel is right babe." I gave Kyle a disgusted look, I know they've been through something horrific but could they at least hold off on the PDA when I'm around, makes me feel sick, I don't need to see them making eyes at each other all the time.

"Don't give him that look, have you tried being around you and Tia?" What the hell was that supposed to mean, "oh come on, you guys put the D in PDA." I didn't need to look at Tia to know she was a little red faced.

"That's different," I brushed off. We're completely different to Abi and Kyle.

"How so?" Abigail gave me a challenging glare.

"It just is."

"Hypocrite."

"Don't piss off my patients you." Jack pointed his finger at me.

I scoffed, "you don't even work at this hospital, she's not your patient."

"Pretty sure I'm the family doctor mate, therefore that makes Abigail my patient, that also makes you my patient." I was gonna knock that smirk right off his face.

How dare he gloat at me, ooh Mr Big shot Doctor, we all know he only turned to medicine because he's to much of a pussy to handle the real business. My dad wasn't stupid, he pushed him in that direction on purpose. Jacks a bitch.

"I could find another doctor in a heart beat if I wanted to, I just don't because you have my godson to feed, I'm nice to you like that, so nice in fact I also give your lovely wife a decent job for some extra income. Just saying you wouldn't be driving that fancy car if it wasn't for me medicine doesn't pay that well."

"Oh really?" He asked, "one that would also clean up all your murder scenes? Or stitch up your bullet holes, you think you could find a doctor round here that would do that for you?" Ok maybe it wouldn't be that easy, I couldn't tell him that though, I need to keep him on his toes.
