It took three whole days for the girls to come back with those contracts and they demanded that a few things be changed. Since my father and I really wanted Fifth Harmony to be on the label so we made sure their demands were met. We even through the girls a little party to welcome them to the family. Shai didn't even do that for Little Mix so I invited them to my party. Today is a really exciting day because the girls are gonna come in and record the first song for their album.

It's a song a good friend of mine wrote called Work From Home and I can't wait for the girls to hear it. It's pop song with a hip hop edge to it. Later on I have my friend Ty Dolla $ign coming by to drop his verse on the song.

I went into the break room to make myself a cup of hot tea and while I was waiting for the water to get hot Shai came in.

"Is it true Ty Dolla $ign is gonna be working with your girls?" Shai asked.

"Yes it is. Why do you wanna know?" I asked.

"I'm just curious. Personally I think it's pathetic that you gotta get a big name rapper to make sure the girls have a hit record on their first album." Shai said.

"At least Fifth Harmony's album will make it on the charts unlike yours. And my girls already have a solid fanbase so my girls are guaranteed to be a success." I said.

I pour the scorching hot water into my favorite mug and let tea bag begin seeping. Once that was done I added a little bit sugar, honey, and a slice of lemon to my tea.

"Have you booked any studio time for your girls?" I asked.

"No. I got my own stuff that I'm trying to do, they can wait." Shai said.

"You fucking up already. I won't be surprised if Little Mix finds another manager." I said.

"They won't because I'm gonna take care of them. My girls are gonna perform in the Staples Center one day watch me." Shai said

"The Staples Center, that's the best you could do? You really don't have faith in your girls if you believe that's the best they can do. I have plans for my girls. Fifth Harmony is gonna sell out Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and any other big name arena or stadium you can think of. Fifth Harmony is gonna win Grammys. Fifth Harmony is going to be successful and I'm gonna make sure it happens. You have a nice day, sis." I said.

I grabbed my cup of tea and my plate of donuts and went into my studio to set things up. I started playing the track so I could get in the mood right. Riley came in with her happy meal and sat in the chair next to me.

"What's that song called auntie?" Riley asked.

"Work From Home, do you like it?" I asked.

"It's a hit. It's about to be everywhere." Riley said.

"What do you know about a song being a hit little one?" I asked.

"Umm all the Y/L/N's do is make hits. Well you and grandpa make hits, Shai ain't got no hits." Riley said.

"Sad but true Riley. This is gonna be Fifth Harmony's first song for their album. They should be here any minute ready to work." I said.
