Y/N's POV
Today has been such a productive day. Early this morning I had rehearsal because I'm doing a show at the Apollo Theater up in Harlem. My sisters and I did a photo shoot Ebony Magazine, it's for their Black Girl Magic issue. Then I got into the studio with Jay and Bey to record a song for my album. Everything is starting to move in a positive direction for the company. The girls are putting the finishing touches on their album and now their in the process of putting together stuff for their next tour.
As far as Javier and I we're doing great. Th only problem we're having is getting it in. My grandma is the ultimate cockblock, I can't even make out with my fiancée without her barging in on us. But don't worry we have a plan today after I finish my work Javier and I are going to his place for a little freaky time.
While I was sitting in my office going over some contracts Lex paged me on the phone.
"What can I do for you sweetheart?" I asked.
"Um there's a fine ass white dude named Max here to see you, he said you wanted to give him a record deal." Lex said.
Here comes my golden boy.
"Send him in." I said.
Max
Max came into my office and he was holding the cutest little girl I had ever seen, I was guessing that it was his daughter.
"H-Hi Y/N." He said nervously.
"Hey Max and who is this beautiful little princess?" I asked.
"This is my daughter Lana, she's three." Max said.
"Hi princess it's so nice to meet you." I said.
"Hi." She said in her cute little voice.
Max and I sat down and Lana came and took a seat in my lap. The baby fever is real right now. Little Lana was the cutest little kid I had ever seen. She had these beautiful hazel eyes, and dimples, and the most beautiful black curly hair. "If I'm crossing the line Max let me know. Is Lana's mother black?" I asked.
Max chuckled, "Yes she is." I said.
"Alright I see you out here down with the swirl." I said.
"I think black women are the most beautiful women on the planet and they don't get appreciated enough, which is sad." Max said.
"I like you, I like you a lot. Now tell me more about you." I said.
"Well I'm twenty years old, I never met my father and my mother gave me up for adoption when I was four. I got adopted into a really great family when I was six. I was raised in an African American household so I grew up listening to R&B and soul music that's why I love it so much. That's the only kind of music I want to make to be honest with you ma'am." Max said.
