Twenty-Four.

Zayn's POV

Y/N's family and I have been sitting in this hospital for three hours waiting on the doctors to tell us something about Y/N and we haven't heard anything yet. I'm trying to hold it together but I'm just falling apart. Y/N and I just talked on the phone hours ago now look where we are. My baby is on an operating table fighting for her life.

Y/N's family, the bodyguards,Big Rob, and three-fifths of Fifth Harmony are here. Ally came and took a seat next to me and she placed her hand on top of mine. "Tell me what happened Ally." I said.

"Y/N stay that idiot Keith backstage and she went to confront him. He knocked her out, beat the crap out of her, and Shai shot her twice." Ally said.

"I'm going to kill that bastard the first chance I get." I said.

"Zayn I know you're pissed right now but violence isn't going to solve this. The cops are out looking for Keith and Shai right now, there's no way they're getting away with this." Ally said.

"I just love her so much Ally. I don't want to lose her." I said.

A doctor came into the waiting room asking for the Y/L/N and the look she had on her face wasn't a good one. I wanted to get up but I didn't. I watched Y/N's mom fall apart as the doctor told her the heartbreaking news. Davis wrapped his arms around his wife and kissed her on the forehead. Miss Roxanne took a seat and I got up to go comfort her.

"Please tell me Y/N's alright." I said.

"The d-d-doctor said the b-b-best thing we can do is make her comfortable. She did everything she could but Y/N's not going to make it through the night." Roxanne said.

"May I please go see her?" I asked.

"Mmhm." Roxanne said.

I got up and started walking down the hall. Big Rob and another guy was posted outside of the door so I knew that was Y/N's room. I put my hand on the doorknob and tears started streaming down my face. I opened the door and stepped inside of Y/N's cold hospital room. Y/N looked so lifeless laying in that bed. She had all these machines around her and there was a tube down her throat. I sat beside Y/N's bed and gently placed her hand in mine.

"I'm so sorry Y/N. I should've been there to protect you. Your doctors are saying that you're not going to make it. Babe you have to make it. I don't want to imagine my life without you. I know that I drive you crazy sometime and I'm not perfect but I'm trying my best to be a better man. If you make it out of this Y/N I promise that I'm going to be there for you. I'm never going to leave your side again." I said.

I kissed the back of Y/N's hands at by her bedside. I sang a few lines of Little Things because that's Y/N's favorite 1D song. I barely made it through the song because I started crying. Y/N's parents told me to go outside and get some fresh air. On my way out the room I saw Camila and Lauren coming off of the elevator. I know things haven't been great between Fifth Harmony but maybe this whole situation will bring the girls back together.

~Ally's POV

Seeing Camila and Lauren walk off the elevator shocked me a little bit. Since the break up neither one of them have talked to the girls but usually it takes something tragic to bring people together.

"Is she alright?" Lauren asked.

"The doctors don't think that Y/N is going to make it through the night." I said.

"Everything was going so good for Y/N now this. I can't believe her own sister would do this to her. Sophie and I fight but it's nothing like what Y/N and Shai do." Camila said.
