Lauren's POV

The mood around this place is very sad and it seems like I'm the only way that notices it. I've noticed that Y/N has been really depressed lately. All before Y/N would come to work wearing designer dresses and pantsuits, now she's wearing joggers and t-shirts. She's become very quiet and that's not like her. Every time I see her she looks like she wants to break down crying at any moment. Apparently Y/N started drinking again to. If that's true then everyone better brace themselves be used when Y/N is drunk she is someone that you don't want to mess with.

As far as the group were doing okay. Everyone is talking about us after we crushed our PCA performance. But of course the haters came out and said our performance was garbage and we needed Camila back, I beg to differ. Not to be shady boots or anything but now that she's gone we won't sound like a bubblegum pop group anymore.

The girls and I have been rehearsing really hard for this Divas show that Y/N is going to be performing at and I'm so excited. It's another chance for the group to get more exposure and it's also the show where Y/N makes her comeback. I am so ready to see her hit the stage again. I've heard Y/N rehearsing a few times and I like what I heard. Everyone that doubted Y/N is going to be shocked by her performance.

"Have you guys seen Y/N today?" I asked the girls.

"Nope she's probably up in her office getting wasted right now." Ally said.

"That's not something you should be joking about Ally." I said.

"She's right Lauren. Y/N is probably the most irresponsible person I've ever met and something needs to be done about. Personally I think we should go to another label." Normani said.

"I gotta agree with my baby on this one. There's gotta be something better out there than this." I said.

"No one is going to treat us better than Y/N. We make a lot of money and have a lot of creative freedom. No other label is going to do that, period. The minute we sign with another label they are going to do everything they can to change us. I don't know about you guys but I'm not selling out." I said.

"Do what you gotta do Laur, I just think we should see what other options are out there." Dinah said.

I'm glad that this rehearsal is over because I don't want to be with these girls for another second. I gathered my things and headed out but instead of going straight to my car I decided to take a detour to Y/N's office. The door was slightly cracked and stuck my head inside, "Is it okay if I come?" I asked.

"Uhh yeah come in." Y/N said.

I walked inside the office and took a seat. Y/N had her back turned to me so I couldn't see her but I could hear her sniffling. She turned around around and she was wiping her eyes.

"What's the matter mija?" I asked.

"Nothing I'm just little sad that's all. But I'll be fine." Y/N said.

"You wanna talk about it?" I asked.

"Not really. I don't want to be a burden on anyone else in my life. I'll just deal with it by myself." Y/N said.

The fact that Y/N feels like she has to deal with her problems alone is pretty sad.

"You know I'm here if you ever wants to talk." I said.

"Thanks Lauren. I really appreciate that but I think I'll be fine." Y/N said.

"Would you like to have dinner with me tonight? Just you and me, chilling." I said.
