Y/N POV

Last night I did a show at the Apollo and it was great. The fans loved it and it was special because it was my grandma's birthday. My grandma always wanted to see a show at the Apollo and last night her wish came true when she got to see me perform. So many legendary performers have performed there and it feels great to add myself to that list. At the end of my set Diana, myself, and Shai sang Happy Birthday to my grandma. She cried a little bit but she enjoyed it.

Somehow some way my parents got tickets to the show at the last minute. My dad seemed to enjoying himself but my mother had her stank face on the entire show.

Ally and Max were in the audience too and they looked awful close. I know that something is going on between them but I'm not gonna say anything, yet. I'm just gonna sit back and watch these two. Who knows Max may the one for Ally. But if he hurts my baby girl in anyway I'm chopping his dick off and feeding to a pack of wild dogs.

We're all siting in parents living room waiting for dinner to be served. I honestly don't want to be here but since my dad asked nicely it's the least I can do. It's been a very long time since we had a family dinner. Hopefully this won't end up being the family dinner from hell.

"Shai did you Brooke come with you?" I asked.

"No." Shai said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Brooke knows how mom can be and she didn't want to bring any unnecessary drama. Besides mom still thinks Brooke is still my friend." She said.

"Shai you need to grow a pair and stop letting mama punk you. Put your foot down and let her know you ain't taking her shit." Diana said.

"That's right. I put my foot down a long time ago and it's the best thing I've ever done." I said.

I got up and went to the mini bar to fix myself another glass of lemon water. The girls and I are the lounge talking so our folks won't hear the conversation.

"Where's Javier Y/N?" Diana asked.

"I honestly don't know. Things haven't been so great between us lately." I said.

"I saw him at the show last night and he looked kinda sad." Shai said.

"Some stuff happened this week and it's really taken a toll on the both of us but it's affecting Javier even more. He's only spent the night at my place once this entire week and that's not like him." I said.

"Well what happened or is it too personal to share?" Diana asked.

"It's way too personal to share." I said.

"We can respect that." Shai said.

"So how's the wedding playing going?" Diana asked.

"We haven't started yet, when I sit down and think about all of the things that have to take place I honestly think that eloping would be better. But I do want an actual wedding so we'll wait and see how things go." I said.

"I can't believe my little sister is getting married, you're gonna be a beautiful bride sis." Diana said.

I flipped my hair, "I know." I said.

There was a knock at the door and Diana went to open the door. Javier was standing there looking handsome as always but he looked sad. "Hey ladies, Y/N." Javier said.

"Hey Javi." Shai and Diana said.

"Hey babe." I said.

"Can we go somewhere and talk, privately?" Javier asked.
