Y/N's POV

On a scale of one to ten with ten being the best, I'd give last night a very strong ten. Zayn and I went at it all night long. I'm surprised that I'm able stand up and make this coffee. Zayn thought he could handle me but I proved him wrong. He's still upstairs sleeping like a baby, I put the sleeper on him. I checked my phone and Normani hasn't texted at all. She's probably cuddled up to her new boyfriend right about now.

I tried to prove to Normani that I could change but she didn't even give me a chance.

Zayn came down the stairs in just a pair of boxers then he kissed me on the cheek. "Last night was amazing." Zayn said.

"It sure was we definitely have to do that again." I said.

"We could do it right now if you want to." Zayn said.

"I like the sound of that." I said as I took off my robe.

It's not a normal morning in my life if someone isn't banging on my door like they're the police. I put on my robe and answered the door. Of course my wonderful mother had to grace me with her presence on this lovely morning.

"Hello mother how are you doing on this beautiful morning?" I asked.

"I'm fine. So you just gonna leave me read on read? I've been trying to get in touch with you all morning and you just ignore me." Mom said.

"See what had happened was.."

"Get out of my damn way!" Mom demanded as she pushed me out of the way.

"Oh, I see why you haven't been returning my calls you've been getting your freak on. I see you Y/N. Hey Zayn." Mom said.

"Hello Miss Y/L/N you look very lovely today." Zayn said.

"Why thank you Zayn. Now go upstairs so I can talk to my daughter in private." Mom said.

"Yes ma'am." Zayn said.

"Put some clothes on too." I said.

Zayn winked at me and walked back upstairs. Mom poured herself a cup of coffee then sat down at table with her legs crossed. I sat down and waited for my mom to lecture me about me sleeping with Zayn.

"What brings you by mom?" I asked.

"I have a few things to tell you." Mom said.

"Okay I'm listening." I said.

"Well I need for you to learn the song At Last by Etta James because you're gonna be singing it at a wedding." Mom said.

"Who's wedding?" I asked.

"Davis and I's wedding." Mom said.

"You're joking right?" I asked.

My mom held out her hand so I could see her very fancy engagement ring. My dad had to drop at least ten stacks on that diamond.

"Now would be a good time to say something Y/N." Mom said.

"I'm shocked. Why'd you guys decide to get married after all this time?" I asked.

"We love each other Y/N. Your father had to lose me to realize how much I meant to him. Davis has his ways but he's a good man and I love him. And it would mean a lot to me if you were there at the wedding." Mom said.
