Lauren's POV

"You're gonna be gone for two months?" Lucy asked.

"Yes but those two months will be over before you know it." I said.

I made the terrible mistake of telling Lucy at the last minute that I was going to bootcamp for two months. Now Lucy is going off on me because I won't be here for while but this is something I have to do.

"Why is Y/N putting you girls through this?" Lucy asked.

"Have you not seen how things have been around here lately? This group is falling apart and Y/N is trying to save it  while that's still possible." I said.

"I get that but taking you guy away from your loved ones and families for two months is a little extreme. Y/N doesn't control you guys and y'all should let her know that." Lucy said.

"Babe desperate times call for desperate measures. I agree Y/N doesn't control us but she does control our careers. She's the one talking to producers and writers, she's books our studio sessions, and most of all she signs the checks. We have to do this Lucy or else Fifth Harmony is going to be a bunch of rejects." I said.

I put the last of my clothes in my suitcase and put on my bomber jacket. Since we're going to bootcamp I packed lots of shorts, t-shirts, sunscreen, and plenty of deodorant. I tried to give Lucy a kiss on the cheek but she turned her head the other way. "Come on baby don't be like that." I said.

"Lauren you know that I'll support I'm anything you do but you and this group are becoming a little too much for me to handle. I hope things work out with you in the girls." Lucy said.

"Are you breaking up with me?" I said.

"I'm sorry." Lucy said.

"You can leave now. If you don't want to tough it out cool but I'm not going try and convince you to stay in my life if you don't want to be here." I said.

"Fine." Lucy said before walking out of my room.

I checked my bags to make sure I had everything I needed before taking them downstairs. I sat outside on the step and called my parents. My gut is telling me that our phones are going to be taken away when we get to camp so I better get all the phone time in that I can. While I was sitting on the step Y/N just randomly popped into my head. Lately Y/N has been acting strange and I don't know why. I know part of it is the group is stressing her out but there's something going on with her and I'm kinda worried.

Normani came outside and sat next to me. "What up Shawkshank?" I asked.

"Nothing just a little scared about this bootcamp shit." Normani said.

"Mmhm you should be." I said.

"What do you think is going to happen?" Mani asked.

"Honestly I have no clue. Hopefully things will change while we're there." I said.

"There's nothing to change Lauren were fine just the way we are." Mani said.

"Something is seriously wrong of if you believe things are fine." I said.

A Escalade and one of those big vans pulled parked in front of the house and Y/N got out of one of them.

"Afternoon ladies, get your stuff and get in the cars. Let's move." Y/N said.

I took my bags and put them in the van. I got in the van and put my headphones in. Y/N got in the van and took a seat next to me.

"How you doing Lauren?" She asked.

"I'm okay. Lucy broke up with me before you got here and I'm pretty bummed out about that but I'll be fine." I said.

"Sometimes you gotta let people go, ask me I know a thing or two about that." Y/N said.
