I'm in complete shock as I watch Chelsea go down. What has gotten into Tes? I've never seen her hit someone like that. I'm not even sure how to react to this. I would have restrained her, but it was just one punch.

I watch Tes say something in her ear, get up smugly and go buy lunch. Everyone is staring at her while she does too.

"Dang Peters, your girl packs quite the punch." Tod nudges me, calling me by my last name, which I hate.

I glare at him. Tod is one of my close friends, and he is also like me, but he's not as strong. I grew up with him, and he decided, like me, to go to human school.

I am a Stameion. A Stameion is best described as a super human. We all have various degrees of strength, the strongest Stameions have more unique powers like mind reading/control and Telekinesis. In general, we all have super strength, speed, hearing, the ability to shoot flames from our hands and we stop aging as fast as humans at the age of seventeen. Another attribute is that Stameions have their own glow, like an aura that is unique to them and sometimes in an immediate family will have the same glow. We only glow when we are feeling extreme emotion or using other powers, other than that, the glow stays in our eyes.

I walk over to where Tes is, knowing she is going to get hauled off to the principal's office very soon. I'm worried about Tes, I can feel that something is off. Now that I think about it Tes has been acting strange for a couple of weeks. I've been on the receiving end of some pretty bad mood swings, most involving her fury.

Even though it is out of character, I can understand why Tes finally snapped and hit Chelsea. I've never liked Chelsea. She always tries to bully Tes.

One time, Chelsea even asked me out, thinking it would piss Tes off. I told her no and that I would rather be alone for the rest of my life then ever think of dating her. Kind of harsh, I know, but I don't care.

I have no interest in any humans' feelings other than Tes. Humans are so evil to one another, murdering, raping, destroying. I find most humans to be very nasty and how they've survived so long has me befuddled.

I wait for Tes to say something, at least to tell me if she is alright or what she's feeling. Maybe she's still angry with me because she doesn't say a word. She sits there eating, looking lost in her thoughts, like she didn't punch a girl in the face. Still, I can't help but notice how beautiful she is right now, her black hair falling just past her shoulder in waves, her green eyes that sparkle in in the light of the café. I know everything about this sweet angel. I know her fears, her wishes, her dreams; she wants to be a photographer.

I know her whole story and then some. There is one thing that I don't know though, if she feels the same way I do. I'm in love with her, always have been. It's funny that I'm this strong creature who can't even tell a human how he feels. I can't read her mind either because she has a very strong barrier, as well as a few other humans here; even my abilities have limits. I don't know why I'm thinking about this, there's no way we could be together anyway.

Finally, I hear, from the Principal's office, the advancing steps of Ms. Jen, the Vice Principal, and Mr. Potter, the Principal. They're talking about Tes.

"Are you sure? Tes Elliot? She's always so sweet and caring," says Ms. Jen, no doubt just about as shocked as I am.

"From what I've heard, that troublesome girl, Chelsea, tripped her, and Tes was already upset because of an argument with a friend," Mr. Potter says. "I'm going to have to suspend them both, regardless of who started it."

I stop listening. So, that was why she went crazy on Chelsea, because of me? Wow, I should get her angry more often because she did look sexy as hell, getting all tough. Ugh, I should stop thinking of Tes like that. If Scarlet ever found out Tes would be dead within the hour.
