I wake up a few times in the middle of the night, panicked that Bryant would be missing from his spot next to me when I opened my eyes. He doesn't get to disappear again, I don't care how Sadie feels about it. We're in this together; if we ever have to be apart, we'll be strong enough. Bryant, of course, agrees with Sadie. I'm going to the Ulias realm today, I will not be left behind.

Bryant is still sleeping next to me and I'm glad. He's been having night terrors ever since he escaped, but every now and then he'll sleep peacefully. His chest rises and falls slowly; no flinching of wincing from the hell that lies in his mind.

Maybe he's dreaming about the Berial realm, he told me how amazing it was when he got back. What happened with Sadie and Gordon was the best part, it seemed so unlike Sadie to let loose like that. Brant and I both agreed that we had to find out what their story was some day. They're my only family now, might as well get to know them better.

The thought of my parents burns me, sending a wave of grief through me. I hold back a sob and I hold back the emotion; I don't want to wake Bryant. I've been holding back my emotions from him since last night. I'm sick of my pain weighing him down; he has enough to deal with as it is. I am going to get through this and hopefully I will come out stronger.

"Good morning, my beautiful queen." Bryant murmurs, his eyes still closed, but his lips turn into a quirky smile. His black hair is matted to his eyelids and the back of it is sticking straight up. I am so glad that this beautiful person loves me.

I gently remove the hair stuck to his eyes by sweat and kiss his forehead. "Good morning, my king."

Bryant's eyes open and he moves his head so that my lips find his. We move perfectly together as our love for one another pours through them. I lace my fingers in his hair and pull him closer, our bodies are mashed together, but somehow that doesn't seem like enough. We haven't been intimate like this in so long and now my body is vying for every bit of attention it can get; making up for lost time as they say.

"I missed you," Bryant gasps when we both come up for air.

"Me too," I breathe and we dive in again. It's about time that we get lost in each other instead of being lost in ourselves.

The sun rises and bathes us both in golden light. Bryant is magnificent in this light, well he is in any light, but I decide that he looks best in this one. He watches me silently while I trace the lines of his muscles; his heart beating steady in my ear. This is now, one of my favorite moments. Right now, I am just happy to exist with this wonderful person by my side.

Bryant takes my hand and kisses it. "Grams just told me that I need to be ready to leave soon."

Smiling at Bryant; I hop off the bed, grab a bag of clothes and run into the bathroom. I dig through my bag and I hear Bryant's bare feet padding across the room. I know he's confused; I can feel it.

He tries to open the door, but I've locked it. "Tes?"

I find a short lavender dress with a flared skirt, perfect! "Yes, Bryant?"

My brush is missing from its usual spot, weird. I'll just use Bryant's. I skillfully brush my unruly hair into a high bun.

"What are you doing in there?"

This outfit needs something else...I search around in my bag until I find them, my black tights! I pull open the door and Bryant is standing there, looking at me expectantly.

"I'm going too," I say, my eyes grazing over his naked torso. "You should probably get dressed.

Bryant doesn't protest, instead he takes my hand and twirls me around.
