Chapter 010
A week later.
The basketball competition begin today. Many students from all over the university came to support their faculties. Including Oak, May , Prang and others who were here to cheered the engineering team on their first match.
Em was selected by coach as the team basketball captain . He was good at ball handling and passing . He lead his teammates very well on the field. Em was secretly happy about the apppoinment. Finally he had beat Kongpope his high school friend, at something. Kongpope always was the superstar Batman and he was the faithful sidekick Robin all this time.
Em glanced at the crowds on the seat area. He saw that May, his secret crush was smiling at him. (Truth was , May smiling at Kongpope who stand behind Em). Em was beaming. HIs eyes twinkling. He will showed May his basketball skills on the court today. He was so pumped.
Meanwhile, Kongpope waved at May. It was nice many of his friends came cheering the team. He kept looking at the spectators seat and feel slightly dissapointed when he did not find one senior amongst them. Kongpope thought he will come to support their first game.
Wad in other hand look cheerful. Lately his mood became better. He did not stay silent or only answered yes or no when asked by his classmates.

Prem stand at the very back of the stadium. Actually , he had a class now . He skipped the class in order to be here. He grinned at Wad when their eyes met for a second.
Prem know he was crazy and out of his mind to be liking someone so quick after his relationship just ended recently. But he cannot denied that he was attracted to Wad. He felt like a magnet being pulled closer and closer by the boy mysterious charm.
Being with Wad and coaching him these last few days made him happy and totally forgot about his break up and the pain it caused. Maybe his feeling for P'Dan was not as deep as he thought. He hope time fly quickly each day so he can meet Wad at the basketball floor every afternoon . He never felt so alive.
He decided just to be a friend for Wad. Prem did not want to chase him so aggressively that he lost him and his friendship. If he aware that Wad only want a friendship, he will backdown quietly and only act as his good senior.
The engineering team won their first match with a fight.
They started quite nervously and quickly fell behind. But they managed to slowly closing the gap. With Em great play as point guard , assisting his teammates and steals opponents ball, Tiw as center with good rebounding skills and Wad as shooting guard, scores a lot from three points range. At the end, they win by a small margin thanks to the players solid teamwork including Kongpope who play at the last five minutes.
The coach and the team were very happy of the win. Coach told them to take a good rest tonight and had a mini training tomorrow morning. Wad was alone at the player room when Prem appeared to congratulate him.
" Great play today, Wad. Grats on the first winning," he shaked Wad hands tightly.
"Thanks, P'Prem. Your coaching help me a lot today," Wad smile warmly.
" Ready to celebrate? Lets eat at the cafetaria. My treat today,"
Wad hesitated.
"I am not hungry, P ," He's not getting used someone buying him a meal. And Prem can sense that.
" Come on, Wad. Its a perk being a junior. You get treated by your senior . Then when you become senior, its your turn treating your junior. Even if you are not hungry, just accompany me along, okay? We can also discuss strategy for the next match."
Wad still not convinced.
Suddenly, his stomach growl loudly asking for food. He felt his face started to changed color. He can hear a muffled laugh from Prem direction.
"Okay P'Prem. Just a second, I am going to take a quick shower and change clothes."
He hurriedly went to the shower room with pink cheeks and red ears. He did not see Prem with his mouth slightly opened, obviously mesmerised by how adorable Wad look when he act so shy.
Notes: The new beginning of Prem and Wad relation as friends and not as enemies anymore. Finally!
