Chapter 018
Prem ran as fast as he can . His heart full of worries. When he arrived near the basketball stadium, he was slightly out of breath. His lung was on fire. He opened his mouth to acquire as much air as possible. Sweat embedded on his forehead and spilling down.
He quickly viewed around and spotted a group of five people punching and kicking something , not far from where he stood. Without wasting time, he quickly headed there.
"What are you doing?! " he yelled deliberately as soon as he arrived to disturbed their concerntration on what they were doing . It worked. They stop their beating and glared at him. Prem can see now that they were university students from their uniforms.
He frozed for a second when he glanced and recognized the person on the ground.
Without saying a word, he grabbed the nearest student collar with both hands. His grip was like iron. That person, no 7 Pon, try to break free . His fist managed to scrape close to Prem's left eyebrows. Prem did not even flinched.
As quick as lightning, he lifted his right knee and striked the man groin area. Immediately, Pon bawling like he was being stabbed and in serious pain. Prem let go and that man dropped down , hands covering his extreme suffering manhood.
The second student saw what happened and try to help his friend by punching Prem with his fist.
Prem saw what was coming. He evaded the fist by side stepping to the left. He quickly turned around and using a spinning back kick to hurt his opponent. The kick landed on the student chest hard with a thump sound. He staggered and fall down backward wailing in anguish.
The other attackers were in shock. Everything happened so quickly and they were down to three . Prem moved foward and ready to landed a quick jab when a voice shouted from behind.
"Stop! Stop the fighting right now!"
Two security guards who were patrolling with bicycles saw what happened and approached to ceased the fight.
The three assailants who still standing , look at each other nervously. Without communicating, they turned and ran as fast as they can . So did the two students who were laying on the ground . They got up and hastening their step to move away with difficulty. Look like they were still in pain.
One security guard quickly chasing them with his bike . Prem greet the other guard and told him about the five students who were attacking Wad when he arrived .
Prem asked him to arrested them. He will make a report later after he bring Wad to the university doctor. The guard agreed. He went on chasing to helped his colleague to catch the culprits.
Prem quickly went to Wad who was still on the ground.
"Are you okay?" HIs corncerned eyes scanning the boy quickly. He notice that Wad had a split lips and bruised cheek. Both his arms were bruising all over , used to protected himself from the blows.
Wad nodded slowly. He forget about all the ache on his body for a moment.
He was still disbelief at what he saw. P'Prem came out of nowhere like a superhero and beat the hell up the two attackers in two swift strikes. He look so awesome in his martial arts moves.
Wad tried to stand but he nearly falled down when his right leg throbbing hurtfully. He shouted in agony.
Thankfully Prem was around and quickly catched him.
"Did your leg hurt?" He asked corcerned. Wad must had hurt badly.
He put Wad right arm around his shoulder and held his hand to support him. "Hold me tight and lets try standing again."
"Yes, P' ," Wad slowly stand again with his senior help.
Prem picked up Wad's backpack that laying near him and placed it on his shoulder.
"Okay. Lets move step by step to the clinic and get you check by doctor."
Prem grasp Wad closed and accompanied him to the campus hospital. Wad put less pressure on his right leg and was able to walked in steady paces. The pain still there but more manageable.
What a day. Triumph and tragedy all in one day.
Notes: Yay!!! Finally Prem came to the rescue. I wanted to wrote that he defeated all the five attackers alone but it probably too much and unreal. So I stopped after he beat two of them. (Prem was trained in martial arts in this story) :D
