Chapter 012
Arthit and Prem were at the campus park sitting on the bench waiting for Knott and Bright on a lovely afternoon. Two of them had different schedules so they will be a bit late for their meeting.
Arthit noticed that Prem was in joyful mood the last few days. It seem like he already recovered from his heartbreak from P'Dan.
Arthit had done some snooping around about Prem's ex. He had a friend in 4th year whose older sister worked as a nurse on the same hospital P'Dan interned in.
What he uncovered was truly an eye opener but Arthit was not that shock. According to his friend's sister, P'Dan was chasing a young doctor from Neurosurgeon department the whole time he interned there and the whole hospital staffs know about that. A day after he broke off with Prem, they officially become a couple.
The fact that the new boyfriend was super rich and powerful did not surprise Arthit at all. The young doctor Dad's, owned the hospital and all the 34 others that located all over Thailand. His uncle had a very high position at the government. Look like the gold digger P'Dan had hit a gigantic jackpot this time. *
Arthit went to saw P'Dan yesterday, He truly want to threw a punch on that smug face when he met him. But he hold his anger back for Prem. He did not want Prem to know the real reason behind the break up and he will know if Arthit had a fist fight with P'Dan.
He greet P'Dan though he does not deserved that.
"Congrats, P'Dan. I heard you are in a new relationship now with a young doctor. I wish both of you will be happy forever," Arthit said meaning his words. If the new couple break up, he afraid P'Dan the snake will somehow slithered his way back into Prem life.
P'Dan surprised on Arthit sudden best wishes. He can only mumbled a thank you.
" And if you had the nerve to contact Prem EVER again, I will rearrange your sorry face SO BAD that even you cannot recognize yourself," he threatened P'Dan with such great intensity that make P'Dan take a step back.
Arthit stared at the man for a few seconds with icy cold eyes before he went away. Not waiting for any kind of reply.
Back to present.
Prem was concerned about Wad. He had texted him via LINE earlier. And he did not receive a reply for over an hour. Did something happened to Wad? Or he did not reply back cause its not important enough?
Then a message came from Wad says "Okay , P'Prem". Prem feel relieved and smile. He was alright .
Minutes later a text came again that almost made him jumped from his seat. It say "I am having a meal now with a lovely girl." Prem felt his stomach dropped. Who was he having meal with? A girlfriend?
Another message came with a picture. A very pretty girl photo.
Now he even dared sending his girlfriend selfie to me? yelled Prem inside. The jealousy hit him hard that all he saw was red. Then he read small words below the pic. "A meal with my cute sister "
Prem laughed. So relieved and annoyed at himself. He was so jealous over nothing. Now he can see that the girl on the picture had a strong resemblance with Wad.
Meanwhile Arthit stared at his friend with his eyesbrows drew together. Is Prem finally lost it? He was in sour mood and look concerned, then he smiled. And become angry with eyes glaring at his mobile. Then he laughed so loudly that few heads from the park turned to their direction with curiousity.
"Are you okay, Prem?" He asked worried.
"I am alright, Ai'Oon. I just read a scary but sad and extremely funny tale." Prem cannot tell Arthit the truth. It was such an embarrassing situation.
Arthit did not buy his friend make up story but decided not to pursued it for now cause Bright and Knott already here and joined them to start the meeting.
They talked about the hazing committee next missions for the newbies the next 30 minutes. Before it ended, Arthit asked the others to support the first year basketball final match tomorrow and also come to the Freshy Night , a pageant competition to choose Prince and Princess winner from first year students representative.
Prem knew that Arthit did not showed up to any freshmen competition last year. Interestingly he asked them to cheered the newbies this year. More fascinating fact, both finals had 0062 Kongpope competed in them. The same junior that Arthit kept complaining about and kept scolding many times.
Hmm, something very fishy here. He will do a secret investigation to solved this mystery , Prem promised himself.
* Notes : On Chapter 7 , Arthit already suspicious that P'Dan was a gold digger who try to find new boyfriend who was richer than his old ones. His suspicion was right. Prem ex boyfriend was indeed a heartless gold digger. I hope we had seen the last of P'Dan character.
