Atlanta.
Typical morning.
The same mess, the same people, the same school, the last year. The weather was windy, making Rose's hair cover her face. With one arm, she was holding her books against her chest and with her free hand, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Here you are!" Stephanie said wrapping her arm around Rose's shoulders from behind .
"You scared me!"
"Sorry...Where's Nick ?"
"Sup bitches." They heard Nick saying, announcing his arrival.
"And he's here." Rose said looking at Stephanie and then both laughed.
"Don't mess with me, I'm having the worst day ever. My sister's annoying cat broke my highlighter this morning."
"How tragic..." Stephanie replied sarcastically, getting the most intimidating glare from Nick.
"You know what's tragic? Is that even without my highlighter I still can get more dick than you!"
"Ohhhhhh" Rose said with both of her hands cupping her mouth to make the sound louder.
"Touché Nick, touché!"
A loud and obvious sound coming from a motorcycle made the conversation between the trio stop.
Obviously that made, not only the trio, but also everyone who was outside of the building, stop and observe him. Mission accomplished.
He settled the motorcycle on its kickstand and killed the engine. He took the helmet off and run his fingers through his hair as he kept looking around searching for something or someone.
He dragged his lean body off the machine and put his sunglasses on that matched with the whole bad boy look, dark brown leather jacket and blue ripped jeans.
He adjusted his backpack as he opened his arms to hug his girlfriend.
That's right, here you have the popular couple of high school. Cameron and Kelsey.
He's popular because he's the captain of the baseball team and basically, thanks to him, they win every single game. Everyone loves him because this school takes the competition really serious and he's the school's hero.
Well, now you could think that his girlfriend is the bitchy blonde that has her "secret" life as a hoe.
Wrong. His girlfriend is actually a sweetheart. A great student, always with a warm smile that aspires to be a doctor and maybe go to Africa for a while to help little kids. Isn't she perfect ?
They kept walking hand by hand, passing by the group of friends but when they were on the top of the stairs, he left his helmet fell and it kept rolling down ending next to Nick's feet.
"Bad boy look cancelled." Rose cringed, with a look of pity.
Nick picked up the helmet from the floor and Cameron walked next to him, removing the sunglasses.
"Thanks bro." Cameron thanked with a smile, accepting the helmet from Nick's hands and then immediately left, making the eye contact between him and Rose only last less than a second.
