Monday morning.

Probably the most painful day of the week. Not just because it is Monday but thanks to the events of the weekend.

Especially for Rose.

She opened the bathroom's cabinet and searched for something to clean her wound.

She used a cotton swab dipped in hydrogen peroxide and carefully placed it over her lip.

Her eyes closed because of the pain caused by the cotton swab.

"Rose hurry up!" Her mom called from downstairs.

"I'm going." She replied putting everything inside the cabinet quickly.

She glanced at the mirror one last time and then went to her room to pick up her bag.

She run down the stairs and when her hand was on the knob of the door, her mom called her again, making he turn around.

"I still have time, don't you want me to give you a ride to school ?" Her mom asked but she shook her head.

"Thank you mom but don't worry! I have to go now. Love you!" Rose quickly said and then closed the door, leaving her mom confused, just mumbling a love you more.

Rose would accept the ride on another day but she didn't want her mom to see her wound. She knew that would scare her.

She run to the bus stop and raised her hand when she saw the bus coming.
The bus stopped and she got in, sitting next to window.

Rose kept looking through the window because right now she didn't want to see anyone.

After a while, the bus stopped and everyone started getting out. Welcome to high school.

Rose grabbed her bag and walked down the few stairs of the bus. The wind hit her face, making her hair cover it.

While she was struggling to remove her hair from her face, she bumped into someone. She looked up but didn't see anyone guilty, just a bunch of random teenagers acting like nothing happened.

Rose simply ignored what just happened and walked to the entrance of the building.

"Sup girl." Stephanie said getting up from the stairs that gives access to the main door.

"Good morning." Rose replied with a small smile.

"You look like a mess." Nick said with a look of pity.

"Oh thank you Nick that's exactly what I need to hear right now." Rose replied rolling her eyes.

"Sorry sis."

"Can we just go? I need to study and organise everything." Rose said and both nodded.

They walked upstairs and got into the library.

They kept walking and then sat down. Rose placed her bag over the table and took off all her books.

"I'm so fucked up." Rose said placing her head between her hands.

"Calm down Rose." Stephanie said placing her hand over Rose's arm. "You need to leave that...seriously." She said lower so Nick couldn't listen.
