february 4th.
Questions kept popping inside his head while he tried to decide if he should get in or not...
Cameron knocked once again and nothing.
He placed his hand over the doorknob and tried to slowly open the door."Rose?" He called before getting into the room.
The door was fully open and then when he got in, he found her.
She was sitting on the bed with headphones and writing something in her little notebook.
"Rose..." He called once again while he closed the door and then took a few steps closer to her but she couldn't hear because the music was too loud.
He placed his hand over her leg, shaking it lightly and she immediately jumped.
"Oh my God, you scared me!" She said after removing her headphones.
"I knocked and called you a few times but you didn't hear me."
"Is everything okay ?" She asked hiding her notebook inside a drawer of the bedside table.
"I came here to see if you're okay...didn't you hear the..."
"Yes, I did...that's why I was with my headphones."
"You could have called me..."
"I didn't want to bother you...I'm okay...I just need to stay distracted."
"So...can I go back to my room ?" He asked pointing with his thumb to the door.
"Yeah...sure...hm yeah don't worry..." She awkwardly answered.
Rose watched him walk away but that wasn't what she wanted.
"Cameron, wait!" She called, getting up from her bed.
"What?" He asked when he turned around, removing his hand from the knob.
"Stay...please." Rose replied and for some reason she felt shy. She walked next to the door and locked it. "It's better if they don't see us together...you know..."
"So what were you writing?" He asked, changing the subject, sitting down on the edge of her bed.
"That's none of your business..." She replied poking his nose, sitting next to him.
"Oh okay, I'm here being nice and that's how you treat me."
"I'm just kidding..." She chuckled while giving him a hug. "But for real though, you already know that I don't like to share what I write."
"Neither with me?" He asked looking at her when she looked up.
"Nope."
"I'm hurt. First, you stopped our date, now this..."
"I stopped the date for a good reason..."
"Right, so I could be your cousin's assistant." He said rolling his eyes and she laughed.
"You two look hot together." Rose said shrugging and then waited for his reply.
