Friday night.
The music kept playing as he opened the doors of the dressing room.
With a towel wrapped around his waist, perfectly showing his v line and with his torso still wet, he searched for a nice outfit.
Cameron was invited to have dinner with Kelsey's parents and they are the most demanding people ever.
Since they started dating, he only had a few casual conversations with them, nothing really serious but this time it was different.
He removed the towel and wore his underwear, black jeans and a white dress shirt.
He put his shoes on, grabbed his jacket and placed his phone inside the back pocket of his jeans. He quickly went to the bathroom to adjust his hair and walked downstairs.
"Cameron." His dad called from his office.
Cameron groaned and rolled his eyes, turning around because he knew exactly what his dad was going to ask.
"Yes dad." He said slowly opening the office's door. "I seriously need to go, I'm kinda late and..."
"Come in and sit down."
He groaned again and closed the door behind him. He took a few steps and dragged a chair to sit down in front of his dad.
"What ?" Cameron asked leaning to the back until his back hit the chair.
"Do you have any news for me ?" His dad asked looking down, flipping a page of the newspaper.
"No...can I go now?"
"Cameron..." He said closing the newspaper, looking up for the first time. "You're my son, don't let me down."
"Dad, I basically talked with her for the first time this Monday, I can't suddenly know everything about her."
"You had the whole week, you need to hurry up. She seems the easiest target. I need to know more about that neighbourhood and quickly!"
"It's hard for me! You need to understand. I'm in a relationship and I can't just approach to other girl while I'm with Kelsey."
"I just want you to do it, I don't care how. Make me proud Cameron and do your job."
"I'll never be good enough for you anyway." Cameron said getting up from the chair and then left the office.
He dressed his jacket and picked up the car keys from the coffee table.
He went to the garage, got into his car and started driving to Kelsey's house.
It was always like this. Cameron's dad always had big expectations and he didn't accept failures. Cameron had to be perfect, the pressure was too big to fail.
The Dallas family was too powerful, he couldn't let them down.He parked in Kelsey's driveway and walked next to the front door to ring the bell.
After a while the door opened and he saw Kelsey with a warm smile.
"Hey..." She said cupping his face with both hands and then kissed him.
"Hi..." He replied with a small smile.
