One more game. One more victory.
Everyone was cheering while the whole team picked Cameron up and started throwing him to the air.
"Good one bro." Tyler said hugging Cameron when they placed him down again.
"Thank you." He replied picking his baseball bat from the floor.
Tyler started waving to the crowd and Cameron looked to where he was waving.
"She's leaving already..." Cameron said confused.
"The game is over, it's normal..."
"Let's go." Cameron said, running to the locker room.
"What are you doing ?" Tyler asked running after him.
They got into the locker room and Cameron immediately started changing.
"Bro, I'm confused." Tyler said sitting down.
"I wanna know where she is going."
"Probably to her house..." Tyler replied and Cameron shook his head.
"She's not going to her house."
"And why do you care? Do you have a crush on her ?"
"No! I just know that Rose's hiding something and I'm curious about it."
"Stalker..."
"Are you coming with me or are you going to stay here ?" Cameron asked placing his baseball bat inside the bag.
"I'm going, I'm going."
"Hurry up!"
Tyler quickly changed his clothes as well and they left the field, going to the parking lot.
Cameron opened his car's trunk and they placed their bags inside.
"She's still there." Tyler pointed to the bus stop as they got into the car.
The bus arrived and she got in. Cameron started the engine and followed the bus.
"This is crazy." Tyler said shaking his head chuckling.
"I know but I'm curious...you're her friend you should know something about her secret. She goes to school with wounds and bruises, that isn't normal!"
"I never noticed...why do you care so much about her suddenly ?"
Cameron looked at him but didn't reply. He wanted to tell him about his father's plan but he knew Tyler wouldn't like it.
Rose is his friend and he wouldn't like to know about his best friend's fake interest in her."You definitely have a crush." Tyler said laughing.
"Something like that..." Cameron shrugged because that was the best lie to make his interest seem more believable.
The bus stopped and Cameron slowed down.
Rose got out of the bus with a duffle bag and started walking until she got into a building with neon red lights saying "Aphrodite.""This place is creepy..." Tyler said looking through the window.
"Let's go then..." Cameron replied parking he car and then removed the seatbelt.
