The weather was cold and the rain wasn't helping.

Rose patiently watched the rain drop slide down the window of Steph's car.

"What are you thinking ?" Steph asked as she kept driving to school.

"Guess it."

"Cameron?" She asked and Rose nodded. "Why are you thinking about him?"

"You know, now that I know that I might be able to stop his dad's company, I don't know how to deal with him..."

"Now you can drop Cameron, you don't need to use him anymore..."

"Exactly!" Rose said and Steph frowned. "I could drop him but I won't. I can't do that."

"Oh God bless, you scared me."

"We talked about our feelings during the New Years party..."

"So...?"

"He said that he likes me and I told him that I feel the same."

"Oh my God, that's great!"

"But it's gonna be hard because of his dad." Rose said shrugging.

"You need to talk with him."

"With Cam?" Rose asked confused but she shook her head.

"No, with his dad."

"What?"

"You need to talk with his dad, confront him...then you can continue your love life with Cameron."

"You don't understand, his dad is a total bitch, even to his son...I don't want him to do anything to Cameron..."

"Cameron knows how to defend himself, his dad won't do anything to him. You just need to stop this for once. I know that this wasn't supposed to happen, you weren't supposed to start falling for him but accept it Rose, you clearly are falling in love."

"But I don't wanna lose the control!"

"Rose, do you like him ?" Stephanie asked looking at me, after parking the car in the parking lot.

"Yes, I do!"

"Then fight for you two! You spent the last months fighting for your family, for your neighborhood, it's time Rose!" She said and Rose took a deep breath.

"Let's go..." Rose said grabbing her backpack and they got out of the car.

They walked into the building and went upstairs, in direction of the lockers to grab some books.

Rose was unlocking her locker and when she opened the door, she immediately started laughing.

"What's wrong?" Stephanie asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Look!" Rose said taking a step to the back.

Stephanie closed her locker and walked next to Rose, holding her books against her chest.

"They're so beautiful!" Stephanie said, observing the red roses.

"What am I going to do with them ?" Rose asked chuckling. "I need water or they'll die..."

"Hold up!" Stephanie said and then she started searching for something inside her backpack. "Here!" She said handing Rose a water bottle.

"Thanks!" Rose picked up the two roses and put them inside the bottle. "Remind me to come get them before we leave!"
