Dani's December

Chapter 11

When i first opened my eyes i couldn't believe what i saw.

Then i never wanted to close my eyes again.

I had merely thought i was addicted to Dani before, now well, i was something more than addicted. I wanted to be near her, all the time, know everything about her, be what she was thinking about when she got that distant look on her face. She was my everything, and i wanted to be her everything as well. After the incident we stayed inside for a week straight, skipped school, work, didn't answer the phone, didn't open the door, just stayed, locked away in my little apartment, it was all so perfect.

But the week ended, and she got better, so we decided we couldn't hide from the world forever.

"I don't see why this is required." I said pouting.

"Because," she said wrapping her arms around me. "We can't have people thinking I've killed you can we?" Her wicked smile and eyebrow wiggle made me smile despite how badly i was trying not to.

The next day when i walked out of class, she grabbed me from behind, wrapping her arm around my waist and handing me a single rose.

"See that wasn't that bad was it?" She asked as i blushed.

I didn't really think about what everyone else was thinking, i only cared about what Dani was thinking, and that in its self was an impossible feat.

'Our' friends seemed barely shocked, some girls looked jealous, which only made me grip Danis hand even harded, she held on too, like she saw the looks too.

After a week of this  i was convinced that Dani was the definition of perfect.

The way she would come out of no where and wrap her arm around me, grab my hand, kiss my neck, cheek, lips, always knowing where i wanted to be touched or held to make me feel non-self-conscience. All the attention she showered on me was so...
