It took me a while to accept and like you. You slowly grew onto me like a cat does to a dog. You comforted me when I needed you most. It was the day I saw Mark and Jinyoung together. I had a small crush on Jinyoung and I felt we were as close as two peas in a pod. But he left me for Mark. Seeing them share a lingering hug and a peck on the lips made me feel rejected by my own best friend. More so the fear of never seeing him as much as I used to. I am happy for them now though, thanks to you. I sat in the corner of the library, pretending to do my maths homework when you came. You sat down in the seat next to me and put your arm around my shoulders, rubbing circles into my arm to comfort me. You never pressured me to tell you, although you probably knew. But you respected how I felt and let me lean on you. That is when I made the irrefutable mistake to like you and call you friend.
