-Epilogue-
Olivia's POV:
Five years later
I smiled down at the three of them. My little Seth and Aiden, looked perfectly identical, wearing cute
superman outfits. May looked adorable wearing a supergirl outfit. She looked slightly different to her
brothers, she had my eyes but her fathers hair colour. The boys had their fathers eyes but my hair.
However when you look at them, you could tell they were triplets. I looked down at all three of them
and I felt like crying. I love my babies so much, they have grown up so much, it seems like only
yesterday I gave birth to them. They were small for normal 5 year olds because they were born one and a half months premature.
"Mummy, the doorbell rang!" May called, pointing to the door. I smiled at her and walked over to the
front door and in came in Kate, Jordan and their little munchkin Riley wearing a batman costume."Hey guys!" I called hugging each of them in turn.
"Hey, how are you?" Kate asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, what about you guys?" I asked, leading them into the house.
"Yeah we're all good, it's been too long!" Ryan commented.
"Yeah thats true." Jordan said, walking down the stairs with a bunch of balloons in his hand. We walked into the living room together and Riley fist punched Seth and Aiden with a 'spud'. He walked over to May and gave her a hug and when he pulled back May was bright red. Just then her eyes caught mine and she smiled a toothy grin at me. I smiled back at her, baby love, how sweet! I waggled my eyebrows at her in a teasing gesture. Before she could respond, the doorbell rang for the second time that afternoon.
An hour later all the guests had arrived and the party was in full swing. Well, by full swing I mean that everybody was enjoying themselves. We were all in for a surprise as well, little Sky was pregnant! Well she isn't little, but you know.
"Mummy, Riley asked me to be his girlfriend, I told him I don't know, what should I do?" May urgently asked me, pulling me to the side.
"Sweetie, I thought it would be years from now that I would help you with boy problems. You're growing up so fast, it's scary. Listen, do you like Riley?" I asked my five year old daughter.
"Yes." May replied, smiling.
"Then go for it!" I urged.
"Okay," May chirped, before hopping off, with her super girl costume flapping.
"What was that about?" Jordan walked over and asked me.
"I was helping out daughter with her boy problems." I replied, with a laugh at how ridiculous it sounded.
"Boy, what boy?" Jordan asked frantically.
"There's no need to worry, you don't have to play the role of overprotective father just yet, wait a couple of years!" I joked.
"Yeah I know, it's just that they're growing up so fast." Jordan complained.
"I know exactly how you feel." I replied, hugging him.
"Let's go back and give the presents," Jordan told me, pushing me gently to the living room, walking behind me.
After we gave the presents and ate cake, we all relaxed and sat in the garden, in a circle just catching up. I looked over towards the kids and saw May holding hands with Riley. I smiled at them and then saw Seth and Aiden match over to them. I looked around and it seemed that everybody was looking in that very direction to see what was going on.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing holding my sisters hand?" Seth demanded, with Aiden standing at his side, shoulders puffed up.
"You guys!" May groaned, turning bright red.
"Your sister is my girlfriend!" Riley retorted, looking smug.
I saw both of my boys eyes get wide but before they could react a booming chuckle kept everyone still. I looked over to Ryan, who was laughing his head off. Everyone was looking at him in question until he finally choked out what he was trying to say.
"Get in there, son!" Ryan laughed, while Riley grinned in response. Everyone joined in laughing, when Seth and Aiden.
"You better not hurt her okay?" Aiden ordered, with Seth shooting daggers at Riley. I rolled my eyes at the whole ordeal, for goodness sakes my children were 5 years old and they were acting like they are so much older!
"It's okay, I've got it from here," Riley answered, taking May by the hand and taking her to the swing. I looked from the distance, these two were so adorable! Little Riley was pushing my May on the swing, with May blushing delicately. My little baby.
The day ended and it was this day that marked the start of something beautiful. My children were growing up and I knew that some 30 years down the line, when my children made me into a grandma, I knew I'd love their children, because children really were the best things that could ever happen. My children were one of the two best things that had ever happened in my life. Meeting Jordan and having my perfect kids.
