My eyes fluttered open and the first thing I heard was the sound of the tires driving through whatever city we were flying through.  I rolled over on the couch in the back of our bus and rubbed my eyes.  I swung my legs over the side and got up.  My arms stretched up above me and I heard the cracks go off in my joints.  Damn, I loved that feeling.

I walked out towards the front, passing Caroline and Tammi still sleeping in their bunks.  Lou was sat at our table while my mom was making breakfast in the kitchen.  I grabbed a sweatshirt from my designated bunk and quickly pulled it over my head, the hood concealing my wild red hair.

“Good morning sweetheart,” my mom said.  I gave her a kiss on the cheek then joined Lou at the table.  Her hair was up in a messy bun and I couldn’t help but think that even when she had an easy, simple bun she looked amazing.  She smiled at me and I could tell she was as groggy as I was.

“How’d you sleep?” my mom asked.  She understood why I slept on the couch as opposed to my bunk and asked me every day how I slept.

“Not too bad,” I replied.  Lou took a sip of her coffee and I laid my forehead on the table.  Just 5 more minutes of sleep won’t kill me…

“Lydia, lift your face off the table.”

I looked up to see my mom with diced eggs and ham on two plates.  She set them down in front of Lou and I and we thanked her as we dug in.  As she grabbed herself a plate and sat down across from us, there was a knock on the door.  Before we could answer it, the door opened and I smiled when I saw Harry, Niall, and Liam walk in.  Then I realized I just woke up and looked like a piece of shit.  My hands went up to my hood and double checked that my hood wasn’t moving.  I did not need them to see my hideous morning look.

            “Morning boys,” my mom said.

“Good morning,” they both said.  Harry’s eyes quickly found me and he smiled.  It had been a couple days since the movie night and I hadn’t seen Harry that much.  We weren’t avoiding each other, but the boys had a couple radio interviews and had been doing some recording before their last couple of shows so they’ve been constantly busy.  So seeing him made me realize that I missed him more than I had anticipated.

“Are you boys hungry?” my mom said.  Niall started nodding before she even finished speaking.  “There’s some breakfast right over there and feel free to just grab a plate.”

The boys dished themselves up then came and sat down.  There was a free spot next to me but Niall and Liam both sat down next to my mom.  I was a little confused until Harry sat down next to me.  He looked down at me before putting a fork full of food into his mouth.  It was nice knowing he was near me again.  I looked up and saw Liam sneakily smirking at Harry.  My eyes shot over to Harry who was trying to hide his smile.  What the hell was that about?  I stared at him willing him to look at me but he kept his eyes on his plate.

“Harry, may I ask you a question?” my mom said and my head snapped up to look at her.  I was extremely nervous about what she was going to ask mainly because I didn’t know what she was thinking.  Harry nodded.

“How do you move around onstage the way you do while wearing such tight pants?”

Niall spit out the food that was in his mouth while Liam, Lou and I busted up laughing.  I looked over at Harry and saw an embarrassed smile on his face.  It was actually kind of cute.
