The chill of the upcoming fall season hit me when I opened the tour bus door.  My cheeks were raw and red from the tears that had graced them after Harry left.  I didn’t know what to make of his departure and I figured I might as well leave the bus and find my mom.  Sitting there any longer wouldn’t be good for me.

But while walking to see my mom, I passed by Lou’s room and she saw me, calling me in.  I poked my head in to see her working on Niall’s hair, Ashton from 5 Seconds of Summer sitting on the floor against the wall.

“Lyd!” Niall shouted when I walked in.  I smiled at him, fully aware that it was more forced than I wanted it to be.  The look on Harry’s face ran through my mind.

“Hey sweetheart, where are you heading?” Lou asked as I sat down next to Ashton.  He reached his arm around me to hug me.

“I was going to see my mom,” I replied.  Niall perked up a bit at the mention of my mom.

“What’s she making today?” Niall asked eagerly.  Damn, that body never stops eating.

“Lets get real Niall, you don’t care what she makes.  As long as there’s food, that’s all you care about,” I said.  Ashton and Lou laughed as Niall shrugged, knowing I was right.  I felt myself smile again, this time less forced.  Maybe it was just being around positive people that helped?

I spent about fifteen minutes in there chatting with them and was happy that Harry wasn’t at the forefront of my mind for a little while.  I needed a distraction.

“Ashton, do you know what city, or country, we’re in?” I asked.  He pondered that for a bit before shaking his head.

“Honestly, I have no clue where we are.  All I know is I have to do some drumming tonight.”  I liked Ashton.  He was so sweet and adorable.

Suddenly Lou let out a sneeze right by Niall’s head.

“Ahh, Lou!  What the hell?!” he said as Ashton and I laughed.

“I couldn’t hold it in Niall!” she countered.

“You guys are a bunch of weirdos,” I said as I got up and started walking towards the door.  “As fun as this has been, I’m going to go find my mom.”

            “Lydia, wait!”

I stopped and turned to look at Niall.

“We’re going out tonight.  So make sure you’re ready to go by like 11:00, okay?”

“Where are we going?” I asked, putting my hands in my jacket pocket.

“We’re going to a new club.”

I could feel my smile falter because my first thought of a club is a lot of people in one place.  I could feel the panic setting in slightly and I took a second to try and collect myself.

“Uh yeah, okay.  I’ll be ready.  Lou, Ashton, are you guys going?”

They both nodded and I said my goodbyes before walking down the hall.  I turned a corner and I felt my body hit something.  I staggered back a bit and looked up to see blue eyes looking down at me.

“Owen, oh my god.  I’m sorry, I keep running into you.”

“We’ve got to stop meeting this way,” he said with a smile.  I chuckle a bit.  “Which direction are you heading in?” he asks.
